A strong case could be made for that.....the tea party is not a unifying force...it has split the Conservative element of the Republican Party and that was a key factor in Romney's loss...The Tea Party had considerable influence in the 08 primaries but went along with the nomination of Romney...a sure loser. That tells me the Tea Party could very well be a tool for the democratic poarty.

I don't think so. If they were an invention of the Democrats, they would have killed somebody by now so they could say "See, I told you they were violent".

Whether or not the tea party was iniitated by undercover democratic operatives...it is helping the democrats tremendously.

There is no such thing as the ‘Tea Party,’ it’s a contrivance of the right.

The TPM is in essence disaffected republicans and partisan conservatives seeking solace after losing the WH in 2008.

The TPM is made up mostly of the Old Bush Base, social conservatives, Christian fundamentalists, and the radical fiscal right.

And unfortunately there is a significant racist component to the TPM, the evidence of that has been provided by the OP.

But yes, however inadvertently and unwittingly, the TPM has succeeded in benefiting the democrats. During the 2010 midterms, for example, TPM candidates cost republicans Senate seats in Colorado, Nevada, and Connecticut, as well as the governors races in California and New York.

In 2012 TPM candidates contributed to the republicans failing to take control of the Senate, indeed losing seats in that body, as well as costing republicans seats in the House.

It’s certainly correct to say that democrats would like the TPM to stick around, particularly if their candidates are going to continue to make reference to ‘Second Amendment solutions’ and ‘legitimate rape.’

The Confused Racialism of the Tea Party

Huffington Post claimed they found a racist element in a Tea Party event .....

Tea party activists and GOP lawmakers gathered near the Capitol to rail against an immigration reform bill passed by the Senate.
When Ken Crow — a co-founder of the Tea Party Community — stepped up to the microphone, however, George Zornick of The Nation said he was taken aback by the talk of “breeding” and racial purity that followed.

At this point in the article I was ready for a quote from Mr. Crow in which he praises the superiority of the Aryan race. I was rather disappointed when I got to the actual words of his speech:

“From those incredible blood lines of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and John Smith. And all these great Americans, Martin Luther King. These great Americans who built this country. You came from them. And the unique thing about being from that part of the world, when you learn about breeding, you learn that you cannot breed Secretariat to a donkey and expect to win the Kentucky Derby. You guys have incredible DNA and don’t forget it.”

That’s right: it’s racist to claim that Americans are blessed with the DNA that produced Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King. Crow is merely claiming that people whose ancestors lived in America, regardless of their race, are somehow different from people who have just arrived. This is enough to excite the thought police of the Left. And while Crow’s attitude might be somewhat better than the globalist nonsense of the pro-amnesty crowd, it highlights the true race problem of the Tea Party: the failure to recognize that the white race must fight for its own interests.......Clement Pulaski

Whatever their make up and whatever their goals may be the reality is (and you are correct about that) they are helping the democrats. That is the truth...irregardless of whether or not they were founded by democratic operatives.

In 2010, Republicans gained 6 seats in the Senate and 60 in the House, hack.

1. The Tea Party wasn't founded by Democrats, it was founded by Libertarians.
2. Romney lost because a majority of the voters in this country now are dumber than a box of hair.
3. The Tea Party didn't want Romney, but Romney was what we all ended up with and it was ether him or obama again.
4. You should do some homework.

I think many would disagree with you.....in the world of politics things are seldom what they seem.................Brendan DeMelle: Study Confirms Tea Party Was Created by Big Tobacco and Billionaire Koch Brothers

I do agree with you though regarding the nature of the masses.....We have become a nation of fools.

Many of them are in the tea party. A movement in need of a leader...but they are too dumb to understand that. They seem content to stand on the sidelines...instead of standing up and taking action aka organizing a real party. Their influence is thus dwindling and was of little importance in 2012 and unless they wake up they will have even less influence next time.

Basically they do not understand True Conservatism...as you indicate they are more prone to the libertarian and of pc persuasions.

They suffer from a severe lack of knowledge regarding why Romney lost and are even more clueless on what it would take to form a winning strategy next time.....I have pretty much written them off...and the mid-term elections will no doubt show their influence has evaporated.

The media will continue to give them some notice but they have no appeal to the critical voting bloc that will reject the republican party nominee once again if the republican party continues its current behavior of kowtowing to minorities and politically correct bullshit foisted on them by the media.

The Tea Party was missing from the 2012 election because they were being intimidated by the IRS.

they seem to intimidate some here and don't forget they scare the shit out of the Dear Leader..which is good he should be scared, they won't be intimidated by him or his goons and will be in his way until he leaves office...which for us the sooner the better...lol

Whatever. The Libertarians started the Tea Party back in 2007 when Bush was POTUS. But hey don't let facts get in the way of your nonsensical rant.

Yes it is.

Once again your so far from the truth, and fall right in with all the I'll take a comment out of context and run it into the ground nit witts.

People that align with the Tea Party are much more diverse than you can possible or be willing to see.

Its typical for your kind, blame someone else for what you are in fact doing yourself.
