Is The Republican Party Dying?

Sadly, it’s a two party system and anyone they says Party X is dying or dead isn’t to be taken very seriously. Both of these dreadful parties are here to stay.
One of the many, many similar behaviors of wingers on both ends is this silly exercise of convincing themselves and each other that the "other" party is always "imploding".

The two parties have certainly changed over the years, and it sure seems like they're begging for a third party to emerge. Sadly, I just don't see that happening any time soon.

It’s political fan fiction and wishful thinking.

The dems and republicans have embedded themselves as permanent members of the two-party duopoly. Republicans will adjust and pick up the slack.

Yes, reps are dying breed. Look at Palm Springs...100 queer political control now. Even the Pope is going for queers.

40% of the USA, so I've been told, favors socialism.

Only a numbskull would say conservatives are flourishing in America.

Yes, we may squeak by with Trump in 2020, but so what. The writing is on the wall. Do you have a plan 'b'?

You only wish. Maybe you guys will wake up on Nov 4.

Republicans have been gaining,” notes Aubrey Jewett, a political scientist at the University of Central Florida (UCF). “That does go against the narrative that Trump was going to lead the party over a cliff.”

wow i notice you are a moderater now.wow how things have changed at USMB.lol

anyways best damn post on this thread, many sheep in America just wont accept facts that it is a ONE PARTY system disguised as two so the sheep think they have a choice in who gets elected even though things NEVER change and they have the same policys.:uhoh3:

they are too fucking stupid to understand that both parties are servants to the new world order agenda and want to impose martial law on us.

they are too fucking stupid to get it that thats why nothing ever changes and WHY an independent never gets elected because they dont want a potus who follows the constitution.the last president we had who was not part of the corrupt two party system that did follow the constituion, paid the price for it on nov 22nd 1963,our last great president we had.

Both of these dreadful parties are here to stay.
In that case you should pick one and work to make it better

I don’t have any interest in joining either party. They haven’t earned it and I’m not my wasting my precious time on them.

some people have the mindset they will vote for so and so because he is the lesser evil, they are the problem why things never change because if you are willing to vote for the lesser evil, then you are a jerk because you are still voting for evil to be in office, evil is evil.:uhoh3:

There could be a realignment sort of what the dems went through from 1972-1988-92. The dems alignment of working class and liberal economics died for several reasons. I don't see the trump base abandoning the white supremacist sense of gringo discrimination. So I just don't see their upside from 48%
That doesn't mean they can't win with the EC, but despite what the trumpsteets here say, if a party has Tex and Fla, it's not about protecting smaller rural states for a tryanny of the larger

It's been dying slowly but surely since 1994. You can send a thank you fruit basket to Newt Gingrich. He started the downhill slide. A secondary nomination goes to Mitch McConnell.
Well, Trump has essentially made it unrecognizable. It can't be called "conservative" any more, and the REAL conservatives are attacked by the Trumpsters. Weird, weird, weird.

If Trump loses, it's gonna be fascinating to see who emerges next, Dr. Jeckyll or Mr. Hyde.

Agreed. Texas is close to going, though, and once that happens, the GOP will have some real decisions to make.
