"Embattled North Carolina Congressman Madison Cawthorn stirred another controversy Thursday by asking the Centers for Disease Control to include aborted pregnancies in statistics tallying death rates. “An unborn child is a human life, no matter what stage of pregnancy the mother is in,” the 26-year-old ultra-conservative lawmaker stated. “Simply ignoring this massacre of Americans is not only wrong, it’s discriminatory.” In his statement, Cawthorn pushed the theory that “Life begins at conception” and called abortion “infanticide.” Cawthorn calls his new proposal the “Seeking Official Uncounted Lives Statistics Act,” also known as the “SOULS Act.”

So is this just shameless pandering to evangelicals to get some type of protection from House Leader McCarthy; since Madison has shit the bed a couple of times and is on McCarthy's hit list?? Or is this a brilliant idea because it not only triggers the libs and baby murdering whores; but it forces the country to officially treat aborted fetuses (miscarriages included) as official deaths of US citizens?? Well, are fetuses considered US citizens? Constitution says they are not....but just because something is rooted in the Constitution doesn't mean we need to adhere to it.....

Also, will mothers be able to take out life insurance policies on their embryos and fetuses now?? Will we need to start issuing social security cards to zygotes....like, how does this work? Come to think of it, it does feel a lot like shameless pandering.....if Madison wants to get back in the good graces of House republicans and even win over Democrat voters -- why doesn't he just pass bills that actually improve the lives of folks, like making healthcare more affordable and accessible to more people, helping workers when it comes to labor rights, etc
