Is anybody old enough to remember?

Go on, shake that can of wasps...
I think the term is 'can of worms' but no matter.

"Really want to get with a Yid into this??"

Not sure what your saying.

Look I cant count the number of times I've been called a 'limey' since coming on this forum. Its like water off a ducks back. You need to grow a pair, man up even kids know about sticks and stones.

I see you've emerged after ignoring my reply to you regarding England's Chief Rabbi on the other thread.
You guys burying your heads in the sand whenever challenged is a pattern I've come to expect, so a reply now - I won't hold my breath!

Big talk about the Holocaust, and fairness,
but it were you Brits who banned Jewish immigration,
inspite the obligations to facilitate it, in most dramatic times.
How did we ban Jewish immigration?
Britain took far more than the US during the 1930's who made it virtually impossible for any but the wealthiest.
Never heard of the 'Kinder Transports'?
Gerry Springer would not have survived had it not been for Britain, Ruby wax, Marianne Faithful to name just a few.
Britain declared war on Hitler, no one else!

You abandoned your promised land God had given you tempted by money lending in Europe. Christians were forbiden to charge interest so you guys filled the role. That and the lure of trading trinkets meant that by 1939 there were 11 million Jews in Europe alone leaving your promised land to Muslims & Christians. After the Holocaust many of those left wanted (not surprisingly) to return to what was then British Palestine. The only reason Britain allowed you in was a guilty world, traumatised by what happened in Europe could not see any other solution to your plight.
Unfortunately it was the Palestinians thrown off their land that suffered the consequences of Hundreds of Thousands of European Jews invading their country.

Did you try to intergrate and share Palestine?
No you treated them like second class citizens and have continually blocked a 2 state solution.
What country has broken more UN resolutions than any other? Stalin's USSR, Pol Pots Campuchia, maybe Saddam's Iraq??? No! - It is of course Israel!

Yet you have the audacity to denigrate the one country Britain, that defended you against Hitler, and allowed you into Palestine. Maybe when you abandoned the Holy land and broke your Covenant with God, he responded and left you to your fate in Europe.

Before the British asses even arrived, we were already building new cities, that would become new metropolitan centers, new neighborhoods outside Jerusalem walls, built infrastructure,
dried the swamps and malaria...

Then Brits came on the backs of conflicting promises to both Jews and Arabs,
and drawing the most ridiculous borders all over the middle east sticking conflicting
ethnic and tribal groups together like a can of processed fish. Brits were hypocrites to all.

Brits limited Jewish immigration to Israel during WWII,
and twice divided the land that was allotted for Jewish sovereignty.

For that alone you Brits will get it up to measure, give our land to Arabs...see what's coming.
Jews not only have a G-d given right but an obligation.

f you didn't know EXACTLY what I referred to in the Brit hypocritical conduct,
there wasn't the need to evade what I've said.

What is coming? Look around...utter humiliation,
everything Brits did against Israel will return - 7 fold.

Think you dodged the bullet by simply loosing the status of an empire?
That is just the introduction, as much as Germany,
you're still here to receive due historic justice.

Everything you did to us measure for measure - 7 fold.
I won't have to move a finger, those whom you helped against us will do it themselves,
and that too is only the beginning, no nation that went against Israel survived, or ever will.

THAT is fairness to Brits.
I wasn't aware Britain ever went to war against Israel.
Britain did more to help the Jews in the 20th century than anyone. It was Britain alone that declared war on Hitler who had sworn to wipe every Jew off the face of the Earth. (France then followed).

Of course you haven't got the good grace to acknowledge, that I have proven, that the Palestinian people's history goes back to Abraham, and is as old as Judaism itself. That was what the thread is actually about.

As for your blithering.....I had initially considered you a misguided but thoughtful poster. I did not however know of your mental health issues.

Good Day - Thread closed!

All you have proven is that Arabs appropriated a false identity of another nation,
and as children of Ishmael have no inheritance in the land.
And exactly why have the children of Ishmael no inheritance in the land?

It was Britain alone that declared war on Hitler who had sworn to wipe every Jew off the face of the Earth.

It was also Britain who returned Jewish refugees, including children, to Germany to give Hitler a hand.
Yea and pigs can fly......make any rubbish up without a reference!

"When World War II broke out, Britain banned all emigration from Nazi-controlled territories. Throughout the rest of the war, only some 10,000 Jewish refugees managed to find their way into Britain. In addition, the British White Paper of1939 further limited European Jewry's chances of finding refuge in that it restricted Jewish immigration to Palestine, which was under the control of the British Mandate authorities. I proved Palestine existed before Israel beyond all reasonable doubt.

Since Palestine (a Greek, not an Arabic word) has been the name for the Jewish Kingdom ever since Hellenization, that's not hard to believe.

Palestine as a strictly Arab Entity only came into being in 1967.

This article presents a list of notable historical references to the name Palestine as a place ...

From the article you posted ...

"The first appearance of the term "Palestine" was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece when Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" between Phoenicia and Egypt in The Histories"

Palestine, the Greek name for the area that was the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah. A Greek version of the Hebrew name פלשת Pəlésheth, which appears hundreds of times in Jewish scripture and refers to the Jewish Homeland.

Palestine, as you know it today, was a Jewish Homeland 3,000 years BEFORE it became synonymous with an Arab State.

The name Palestine cannot even be written in Arabic, which contains no letter equivalent to "P".

I thought you are a copper? Meaning I would assume you'd base observations/conclusions on concrete facts.
You have completely ignored the above timeline I posted. If Palestine appears in the Bible & Torah -

The Palestinians are the Arabs who live (or used to live) in the same land that the Zionist Jews now live in. They are primarily descendants of Ishmael, who is the first physical son of Abraham. It was Hagar, a handmaid of Abraham's wife Sarah, who gave birth to the child.

What date did Abraham live - the 5th century???

Palestine or Peleset in Jewish Arabic.
Palestine or Pleshet Philistia in Hebrew.

Stop trying to muddy the water and cloud the facts!

LOL...

Moshe has a point, Oz... a convoluted one but still a point.

In 2000 years of Judaism the establishment of a jewish entity in Palestine even by the most pious and observant Jews was considered sacrilegious.

140 years of Zionism turned Judaism's tenets upside down:

Blasphemy became orthodoxy.

And orthodoxy became blasphemy.

Religious Jews became heretics.

And heretical Jews became religious.

Apostasy became "mental sanity" and loyalty to the tenets of one's religion became "madness", "nutters".

And this is the greatest "miracle" of the zionist movement.

Not the creation of the state of Israel as so many people believe but the rewriting of Judaism itself to serve its own purposes.

In 2000 years of Judaism the establishment of a jewish entity in Palestine even by the most pious and observant Jews was considered sacrilegious.

But... the establishment of Israel isn't a religious state. It's a secular one. A homeland for persons of the Jewish ethnicity, regardless of religious observance.

Everyone Jewish organization recognizes this, including the observant Haredi, except one ... a few thousand Neturei Karta who make up less than 0.002% of the world Jewish population.

The establishment of a secular Jewish state has nothing to do with Jewish scripture. It's a political state, not a religious one.

Tell this to Rylah, fncceo...

The guy holds the israeli flag with one hand and the Torah with the other... and don't even blush.:rofl:

But seriously now...

You are quite correct the ideologues who conceived and the people who implemented their ideas on the ground were secular Jews, sons of the Haskalah.

But they were also cunning strategists who soon realized the importance of coopting Judaism and use it to advance their own cause.

So they "adopted" for public consumption, the so-called "modern religious zionism" (a kind of religious zionism that accepted the secular enterprise being implemented in Palestine as part of God's plan) having this heretic as their main ideologue:

Is that why re-constitution of sovereignty was included in the commandments of the most extensive Halachic works by the likes of Maimonides and Nahmanides?

Don't pretend you have a zilch knowledge about what you parrot.

Abraham Isaac Kook

Rabbi Avraham Kook Ztz"l was not only a prodigy genius and one of the greatest sages of the generation, but was recognized and sent to lead the young generation in the re-constitution of sovereignty by the elders of the generation.

Those who called him names went against the elders,
and even the elders who opposed his support for secular Zionism were his closest supporters:

(Rabbi Zonenfeld Ztz"l with Rabbi Kook Ztz"l)

Indeed the Zionist movement, after being initiated by the older Orthodox organization,
became much more inclusive of the entire Jewish community as it developed with emancipation.

Political Zionism in its popularized form,
is a combination between the students of the Volozhin Yeshiva and Haskalah, many representing both.

Even the most 'secular' among them like David ben-Gurion Ztz"l, a typical Heider student.

It was all grooving, and that it became as inclusive is to large extent to the credit of Rabbi Kook Ztz"l,
who managed to see and express the G-dly in specifically the 'secular' in rejuvenation of the nation.

That was his greatness and sense of humor.
