I must admit. I was a bit thrown off when you asked me that question. Because even as I look at them now, those quotes to me speak clearly for themselves.

Perhaps..just perhaps...it was a little too much to throw at you all at once.

Well I got that now.. I understand your arguments very well Sir and I am perfectly sane when I reply to your and eot's posts. And I very well know what I am trying to say and what my views are.

The USA is already socialistic, at least to some degree, in some areas – mandatory unemployment insurance, social security, minimum wage, etc. It is still highly capitalistic in other areas. If Americans think that the USA is moving too far to the left, it will vote for conservatives. If America moves too far to the right, we will vote for liberals.

America is not a barn but to use the comparison, we can bring the horse back. It may take some time if we let the horses wander off too far. I don’t think that the American public will let that happen. If we are going to the political left we will vote for people of the political right before things supposedly “go to far”.
