There are over 100,000 idle youth in each of our major cities....approximately 6 million in the 16 to 24-year-old age group that are not in school and not working either....violence is beginning to rear its ugly head....

Meanwhile Obama and Administration tell us that unemployment is declining and that there are job opportunities for everyone.....what a crock.....this chart says it all:
Employment-Population-Ratio-20132-425x255.png

So the notion that we are experiencing an "employment recovery" is absolutely laughable.

The fact that government dependence has soared to all-time highs even in the midst of this so-called "economic recovery" is just another sign that the middle class is dying.

Congress is voting today on whether or not to extend unemployment benefits...but what is being done to address the real problem....to help create new jobs.....? Nothing as far as i can tell....in fact just the opposite....

Is this growing dependency and growing unrest actually what Obama was shooting for in the first place....? To be sure this is certainly 'transforming' America....

In America today, there are close to 50 million people living in poverty and there are more than 100 million people that get money from the federal government every month. As the middle class disintegrates, poverty is climbing to unprecedented levels. Even though the stock market has been setting record high after record high, the amount of anger and frustration boiling just under the surface in our nation grows with each passing day.

And now extended unemployment benefits have been cut off for 1.3 million unemployed Americans, and it is being projected that a total of 5 million unemployed Americans will lose their benefits by the end of 2014. In addition, as I have written about previously, 47 million Americans recently had their food stamp benefits reduced. The conditions for a "perfect storm" are certainly being created. So how much longer will it be until we see all of this anger and frustration boil over in the streets of our major cities? Is America about to reach a breaking point?

A perfect example of the Republican position versus the Democratic position on education.

The trend line for violence across the country is and has been downward. So there's that.
Secondly, there are jobs. Actually in the "right" areas of the country there is a shortage of skilled workers.

And that is the issue. We as a nation have continued to see our industries create high skill jobs requiring good math and logic skills along with mechanical aptitude. And of course computer skills. (which most youth DON"T have. They just think they do)

But for some reason we quit providing industry with the young job applicants that had the necessary skill sets to do the job required.

What do we as a nation want to do about the shortage of high skill employees? That's seems to me to be the bigger question.

yeah.. whatthefuckever. We've seen the democrats model for education for decades... every year we spend more and more, and every year it gets worse and people like you say we need to spend more.

You're like Rainman babbling on and on about Wal Mart.

that why I suggest we spend 0 on Education and watch America march to the front of the line

The red L of the south and midwest is producing 75% of US GDP growth and has since 2008. NYC and Chicago have been in relative decline since 1959 when the St. Lawrence Seaway opened. So, I doubt the breaking point can be predicted.

violence is simmering underneath.....it will appear after more years of living in poverty and no hope.....once Obama's 'Hope and Change' never appears....

the colleges are packed.....more young people are going to college than ever before.....but they graduate and find no decent jobs.....perhaps there is something wrong with the Education system if they don't encourage math and engineering....? from K-12 kids are being taught abominable math skills....

lots of young people couldn't make it in college if they wanted to....they would do much better in a technical school.....a good welder today can make good money....but except for some where are the jobs waiting for the millions that need them.....?

That's just dumb.. everything to you is all or nothing. What a mental giant...

The reports I've seen say there are lot's of high paying jobs in South Dakota. People need to go to where the jobs are instead of waiting for the jobs to come to them.

Jobs traditionally occupied by American Youth now belong to Immigrants - Many here illegally.

The Democratic Party endorses this Practice - Illegal Aliens represent a huge voting block that the Democrats will pander to.

Relocating to South Dakota is so easy

Are you going to lend them the money? They will pay you back....promise

Where are our job creators?

We kept taxes low and gave them all that capital gains relief....what happened to the jobs they promised?

Obama has smothered business with all his regulations....he really doesn't want America to succeed...

Romney promised 12 million new jobs.....bet he could've delivered most of them....what is Obama waiting for....?

12 million?
Are you sure that wasn't 12 billion?

Romney is mega wealthy....how many jobs has he generated since November 2012?
He is a "job creator" isn't he?

yes....12 million....

what's interesting is they said back then it was a fairly 'safe bet' by Romney....
But Moody’s Analytics, in an August forecast, predicts 12 million jobs will be created by 2016, no matter who is president. And Macroeconomic Advisors in April also predicted a gain of 12.3 million jobs. In other words, this is a fairly safe bet by Romney...
Fact Check: Romney?s 12 million jobs

so far dog Obama has only generated about 2.5 million since he was elected 5 long years ago....Obama?s Numbers, October Update

A "politician" made you a promise that you believed would be kept? LMAO. What are you? A turnip?

So what is it that is going on? You claim that Romney would have created 12 million jobs. I figure he must of been planning on SOME help.

So what was it that has stopped Romney from creating 12 million new jobs all on his own?

Perfect.

Ladies and Gents:

This is a textbook example of mindless, reactionary, knee-jerk Liberalist thought processing.

If right thinking Americans say that more money doesn't = better educated kids, the loony left concludes NO FUNDING is what we are clamoring for or that no money will help make the kids better educated.

What childish posting!
