Talk about going to the extreme. The agents acted like Hitlers Gestapo when they entered the Carwash to confront the owner. Expect more of this style of tactics to ensue when the Health Care Bill passes because the IRS will be in control of collections. This is a fine example of things to come under the man who has usurped the Presidency illegally.

It was every businessperson's nightmare.

Arriving at Harv's Metro Car Wash in midtown Wednesday afternoon were two dark-suited IRS agents demanding payment of delinquent taxes. "They were deadly serious, very aggressive, very condescending," says Harv's owner, Aaron Zeff.

The really odd part of this: The letter that was hand-delivered to Zeff's on-site manager showed the amount of money owed to the feds was ... 4 cents.
Inexplicably, penalties and taxes accruing on the debt – stemming from the 2006 tax year – were listed as $202.31, leaving Harv's with an obligation of $202.35.

How can you owe 4 cents?

I thought tax returns were rounded off to the nearest dollar?

The insatiable hunger of the welfare/warfare state is unbelievable.

This incident was designed to show who is the boss. If they really needed the money they would have told Bernanke to inflate the currency.

This is exactly the kind of behavior the Founding Fathers sought to avoid:

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.
