Northern Fleet backs off after Irish fishermen vow to block drill

Russia tells authorities in Dublin that a planned exercise will be moved out of Irish exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

"Last week, the Barents Observer told about the group of Northern Fleet warships sailing around the northern coast of Norway towards an area in the Irish Sea where Russia had announced a warning zone for artillery and rocket shooting. The planned Russian war games in the area triggered massive media attention and protests by both the country’s foreign ministry and local fishermen.Sailing out from the coast of Cork, several of the local fishermen threatened to ignore the NOTAM-warning by the Russians and continue to catch. On Saturday, however, the powerful Russian Northern Fleet had to back off. Ireland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence, Simon Coveney, said in a tweet that he welcomed the Russian move."

A sad day indeed when some Irish fishermen have more balls and are more intimidating to Russia than Biden's own military....I say Biden's military because most of the real soldiers left the military the minute Biden stepped in and turned it gay and stuffed it with a bunch of lesbos and trannies. Perhaps Ukraine should look to these fishermen to help them ward off any potential invasion from Putin...we all know the war-mongering Biden is too weak to do anything to Putin -- even tho Biden is a warmonger, but he is also is a coward who cut and ran from Afghanistan-- sighs, it's complicated...Bottom line is, Putin is a tougher and better leader than Biden will ever be...
