Conservatives have always said that if the Iraqis ask us to leave we will.

Well now it's time to put their money where their mouth is. I wonder how they'll spin this one?

They will probably start by saying "The Iraqis just don't know what's good for them like we do."

That's for sure!

If the "commander guy" really gave a flip about the Iraqis he would have taken the time to bone up on their culture a bit before invading. Then he would have known exactly what kind of sectarian strife he was unleashing and he probably would have had to scrap his plans for total domination of the world's largest oil reserves.
