Another concrete reason the US has absolutely no reason to intervene there!

The people elect leaders who cannot lead. They have no understanding of democracy and it is time US politicians understand this 7th Century tribal society is only returning to its roots. We should let it split up. And, even if Iran gains a foothold in the region, so what? The US is no longer dependent upon Middle Eastern oil and, if Dear Leader would permit it, we could not only become the world's #1 producer but could build refineries to allow us to produce enough fuel to drive this nation for decades. Don't even consider reducing the prices we pay at the pump.
