Iran Strikes Israel With Missiles In Retaliation To Israel Striking Lebanon

Reinforces my belief that both sides of the Swamp Aisle take turns "effing" America over. They're all either corrupt or inept.
There is always that possibility.

They are rat bastards and I appreciate you noticing. They elbowed their way into someone else's land; murder or exile them; then play the victim when the folks of the region retaliate. If someone elbowed their way into my land ... I'd likely fight back as well.
Well, they did offer to settle for the 2-state solution put together way back in 1947, but the Arabs representing the Palestinians refused.

Too bad. Since then, sans any formal agreement, Israel now has something like 10X the land while all the Palestinians have left is, well, zip now. I'm not even sure if they still even have Gaza.

Should be noted that the UN partition would have created a 90/10 Arab state in Jordan and a 53/47 Jewish state in Israel.

The Israelis were willing to have only a slight Jewish majority in their country...that's how committed they were to peace.

Also, Egypt and Jordan controlled Gaza and J/S from 1949-1967 yet didn't create a Palestine in the land they're now saying is "Palestine".

Additionally, there was another partition that was happening at the same time in India. About 15 million people were displaced there, but India took in all the displaced Hindus and made them citizens while Pakistan took in all the displaced Muslims and made them citizens. Israel also took in the displaced Jews from MENA countries and made them citizens. The Arabs are the only ones who didn't, keeping displaced Arabs stateless and in camps. So this is kinda their fault and they should be the ones to solve it by absorbing these people into their countries.

Israel has set the precedent of trading land for peace before, so you know they're good for it. They gave up 2/3 of the country to reach peace with Egypt including the strategic Sinai peninsula and eastern side of the canal.

Well so long as Iran's proxies continue their attacks against Israel, it's never going to end.

You can't propose a peace deal and still have your proxies continue their jihad. That's not how peace deals work.
I do believe thats their argument.

Historically as long as Iran did not directly attack Israel, Israel limited its attacks to proxies or Iranian "volunteers" in client states (Iraq and Syria for example).

Hezbollah is shooting at Israeli soldiers. Israel is aiming for women and kids:
That's an inversion of reality. Do Hezbollah's rockets have some sort of advanced scientific technique or magical ability that, even when indiscriminately fired, can distinguish between soldiers and non-combatants?

I think Israel has decided that no longer works because they are constantly having to deal with these schmucks and everyone knows that Iran is behind most of it.

If they can use this war to put an end to the proxies, I think it was worth it.

If Saudi Arabia joins the Abraham Accords, which the Prince wants to do once his father dies, the rest of the Sunni gulf states will follow and Iran will be isolated. They'll be forced to end the proxy war because the rest of the Middle East is tired of their BS.

Iran proposed a peace deal that was rejected. What else can they do? Every time they almost reach some tentative plan, here comes the bloodthirsty mob from Israel stirring the pot. They're such an incorrigible and disgusting lot.

Apparently -- considering the fact that only Israeli bombs are killing women and kids.

I guess Israel and "ceasefire" are like oil and water. Israel has been bombing innocent civilians in Lebanon for days on end. Iran finally had enough of it and warned Israel that if they continued that Iran would strike. Well ... it happened.

I posted earlier that Iran may even have nukes. Here's a report stating that it's very possible that Iran has them.

Not one missile got through. Total waste but Israel bombings did hit their targets.

Israel IS NOT TARGETING CIVILIANS !
Hahahahahahaha. Tell that to the 100,000 kids and women murdered in Gaza and the more than 4000 killed in Lebanon. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear it.

Weird. Its almost like Israel built a defensive military strategy rather than an offensive military machine which relies on the deaths of women and children.

Yeah ... that's why they keep pushing their way into someone else's land (in the name of the Greater Israel Project). I guess if that's what you call "defense."

It's just a matter of tonnes or quantity - aka $$ and supplies.

Whilst Hamas rockets or bomb devices kill maybe 10 civilians in a year - Israels missiles and bombs kill thousands.

There is no need to invent a reason for Israel to "push their way into someone else's land". Israel is simply responding to attacks on her citizens.

Israel elbowed their way into someone else's land in 1948. They've been a thorn in everyone's side ever since. If a foreign power forced their way onto my property ... bullets would fly.

Israel wouldn't have to use any weapons at all if Iran's proxies just stopped attacking her. It would be the end of the wars.

Yes, it always comes down to this. You support Hezbollah and Hamas unconditionally because they are the "righteous" ones with bullets and rockets and are therefore not restricted by morality and law.

Except iran literally started shooting directly at them first.
