I believe ethanol subsidies were done under the Bush administration. We have to be honest about this issue.

The sad thing about subsudies is that they are only used in industries that can't find a customer. They become dependent on these things because of that and the minute you threaten to undo them you destroy those industries. Can you see why big corporations like big government? It is the only thing that can protect them from the nasty free market thing.
