JAN. 6 CAPITOL RIOT

‘Comey Rule’ director working on Jan. 6 insurrection miniseries

“News of the series’ development lands as the increasingly complex investigation of the Capitol assault continues to play out in federal court.

The writer-director who brought “The Comey Rule” to Showtime last year is preparing an intensively reported dramatic series depicting the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection — its causes, its intense violence and the aftermath of one of Washington’s darkest days, according to sources familiar with the network’s plans.

Billy Ray, known for his portrayals of real-life figures in "Shattered Glass, Richard Jewell and Captain Phillips," is preparing a docudrama series that could stretch to eight hourlong episodes tracking some of the key figures who traversed the Capitol that day: the lawmakers fleeing danger, the rioters creating it and the beleaguered Capitol Police fending it off.

The series, like "Comey," is slated for a potential run on Showtime, which has ordered three scripts so far. Its narrative is based on extensive interviews with some of the key players involved in the events surrounding Jan. 6, though the show’s producers are remaining tight-lipped for now on its sources of information.

Oh, I dunno, BK.
My avatar only means to inform with that thread-starter.
Seems to me, and to him, that it's a tad premature to judge the movie on a mere press announcement. A very brief one, to boot.

Personally, for the two us, we wait till there are more announcements, news, or reportage, and so on...... before we make any attempt to arrive at an informed decision.

In fact, we try to do that with most everything in our full life.
It's just who we are.

Your mileage may vary.

Will the Capitol be stormed with guns and bombs?

Will the Capitol police be shown as defending the Capitol in any way necessary before driven back by overwhelming numbers of insurrectionists with gunfire and explosions?

Are they going to cast the cop that shot the unarmed female protestor as white?

Will the unarmed female protestor that was murdered be cast as a white male neo-Nazi with a gun and armed to the teeth?

Stay tuned next week for the same fake news same fake channel.

*****CHUCKLE*****

Well, there's been a lot of coverage today about the hunt for insurrectionists.
Law enforcement is not lifting their foot off the pedal, or so it seems.
And their press people are getting videos and descriptions to all kinds of newsfeeds this afternoon. I must've seen 8 or 9 by now.

Here's this reportage where the FBI is asking for ID's on 10 of the "most violent" who have yet to be identified.

In my opinion, anyone who was in or at the Capitol and knows they threw something at the police, or struck them or sprayed them, or even just bashed at a door or window.......AND .......they haven't yet been contacted by the authorities. Well, I think they may be living a life of waiting for that dropping shoe. A Sword-of-Damocles thingy.

Take a look at the vid embedded here of the moke on the platform spraying a bunch of police with some chemical. Pretty damning stuff.....if they can ID the guy.

Anyway, here is one more bit of coverage from some newsfeed that illustrates the mokes the FBI most wants to talk to.

"Who Are They? FBI Asks Public to ID 10 Men Shown on Violent Capitol Riot Videos

LOOK CLOSELY

New videos of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots show suspects assaulting federal officials, and the FBI is asking for the public’s help in putting names to the faces."

"While more than 300 rioters have been identified, the FBI believes almost triple that number participated in the deadly attacks—and is relying on the public’s help to find 10 unidentified individuals that are believed to have committed the most violent offenses.

In a slew of videos released Thursday by the FBI, Capitol rioters can be seen shoving, bashing, and attacking police trying to stop the mob from storming the Capitol with clubs and chemical sprays. In one video, a man is seen dangling a fire extinguishing over a metal railing before spraying officers, while in another a rioter can be seen repeatedly striking a line of officers with a baton.

In one video captured on a police officer’s body camera, a man in a MAGA hat is seen charging at multiple officers and attempting to push them to the ground. Another clip shows a separate man in a MAGA hat using a pole to violently beat officers. A third rioter man wielding what appears to be an electroshock device can be seen in a crowd fighting with officers— repeatedly hitting the law enforcers with the baton-like device while a loud buzz and bright flashes can be seen."

"The Comey Rule" provides a past performance that reveals the political viewpoint of the writer.

He cast Comey as a fallen hero in a confused mess. It was like watching a horse take a dump.

The leftists will beleive this fabrication is real. To be fair, that's the only reason it's being made, to tell the leftists what to think. Works every time.

"You mental midgets just love your propaganda."

Well, I don't know much about nor identify with "mental midgets".
Am curious though about the "propaganda" observation.

What triggers that comment?
Have you seen any filming of the show?
If so, how? It's just been announced.
If you've seen script treatments or interview transcripts......well, Wow!....how did you mange that?

Or, if you have no insider's perspective and know no more than the brief newsfeed announcement I offered.......well, I personally think you are jumping to a conclusion on a subject you know next to zero about.

Which seems strange that a poster would want to bring attention to and illustrate his lack of knowledge in such a visible manner.

What's up with that?

There was no insurrection in the first place. The fact of the matter is that out of all those anti-voter fraud protestors they arrested, not a single one has been charged with insurrection.

The LWNJ TDS afflicted morons here are so fucking stupid that they have been easily brainwashed into believing that there was an insurrection. It takes a very low IQ person to be so suggestable that they are that easily brainwashed by simple repeated messaging.

Well, thank you, poster Muhammed for your gracious response.
We all look forward to your articulate and measured use of our language.
My avatar would not be surprised for some to suggest you are an exemplary representative of the Fringie Right.
The model from which the pattern was cut.

So keep it up.
