Inhofe starts snowball fight with global warming k00ks!!!

LMAO...........Im still laughing.

Kinda funny how the worm has turned in the past 10 years or so........now, if you are a global warming advocate, most people kinda snicker and smirk when the topic comes up, that is, if they can get past the frostbite they just got from coming in from out of the frozen tundra!!!

The east coast has had a very cold winter. Alaska has had a very warm winter. Overall, January was warmer than average for the US.

Overall, January's average temperature for the continental United States was 33 degrees, which NOAA reports is 2.9 degrees above average. In addition, January 2015 ranked as the 24th warmest January in the 1895-2015 period of record, and it was the warmest January since 2012.

When you add Alaska to this, the area of the US that was much above average is huge compared to the part that was below average.

Bustle

Utterly contradicting every weather-related comment you’ve been hearing for weeks, the winter of 2015 isn’t quite as bad as everybody thinks. OK, yes, this past month has been bone-chillingly cold and, yes, the Northeast has gotten absurd amounts of snow in the last few weeks — but, believe it or not, on the whole the winter of 2015 has been surprisingly warm for the U.S.

While February’s temperatures have been much colder than average, the rest of the winter months have not followed suit. In January, for example, the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) reports that nearly 3,500 records were set for daily high temperatures. In fact, the period from December 2014 to January 2015 was so warm that it ranked as the sixth warmest in the U.S. since 1895. Globally, January 2015 ranked as the second warmest on record.

And although the month of February has felt particularly brutal, the NCDC reports that, across the board, it’s really not all that bad. While there have been 236 records for cold temperatures set so far in February, there have been 4,074 records set for warm temperatures. Granted, most of those warm temperature records have been recorded in cities out west such as Seattle, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, it still serves to debunk claims about just how terrible this winter has been.

So, up to February 19, there were 4,074 records set for warm tempertures, and only 236 set for cold temperatures in the US. What a bunch of pansies you East Coasters are.

Inhofe is an energy company whore, and someone that needs to be voted out of office as soon as possible.

Data isn't going to make any difference to these dudes. A position assumed irrationally cannot be changed with rational argument.

LOL......Ray.....try telling this to the 100 million people who live in the northeast!! At the end of the day, its the only thing that matters. My folks, both in their 80's say this is the worst cold they remember.............ever. Im kinda thinking there are at least a handful who hold the same sentiment!!!:bye1: Its the standard joke in these parts these past few weeks. Perception is everything...........not colorful graphs put out by an organization that is rigging the temperature data anyway!!!

Make no mistake........on the east coast, nobody is caring about what the climate scientists are saying.:coffee:

And Ray.....not for nothing but all of your pols pushing renewable energy are also energy company whores.

Ya know.....just to be fair about it and all..............:eusa_dance:

Hate to break it to you s0n, but in 2014, the climate crusading k00ks are the flat earthers.:2up:

Post me up one single link that displays for us how the climate science is mattering in the real world!!!:fu:

Lets see....

Worldwide droughts
Famine
Increased Hurricanes

Nah.....I don't see any impact

not sure who's ? you are answering, but its certainly not the one I posed above!!!:2up:

Climate science produces data and forecasts.

And?:boobies::boobies::boobies::eusa_dance:

s0n.......you are such a pronounced dickhead!!!:gay::up::up::up:

Mysterious East Coast Flooding Caused by Weird Wind Patterns

At the time, the unusually high tides caught people by surprise. Now, researchers know why the ocean was flooding beaches and barrier islands: Sea levels temporarily jumpedby up to 2 feet (61 centimeters) above the high tide mark, as measured by tide gauges along the Atlantic Coast from Maine to Florida. Over the two-year period, coastal sea levels rose an average of 4 inches (10 cm) from New York to Newfoundland, Canada, researchers reported today (Feb. 24) in the journal Nature Communications.

"This extreme sea level rise is unprecedented in tide gauge records," said study co-author Jianjun Yin, a University of Arizona geosciences professor who specializes in climate modeling. "This is a one-in-850-year event, based on the past records."

Further in the article, it states part of the cause was unusually warm waters in the far north. Something we are seeing a lot more of now.
