I donāt oppose the death penalty for any reason of life in and of itself being sacredā¦and I would support it for the worst of tbe worst (like the most recent mass shooter). But the reality is, it doesnāt work like that. The crimes meriting death vary from state to state, and the inequities in the system mean poor and minorities disproportionately end up there. On top of that, innocent people end up there. So it isnāt just.Well, for what itās worth, I only support the death penalty for the worst crimes and only when there is zero doubt of guilt.
