Are we independent from foreign oil?? Are we independent from trade imbalances , food price increases, terrorism???

Does anyone actually believe we are not in a "cold war" with China,, and not still in one with the Soviets. (no matter how you slice it, they are Commies,, some are just richer than others)

Ironic,, China has cut back its exports of fireworks this year.. The one F'n thing those shit heads make that I enjoy and they are not sending it over with the same zeal of lead tainted food, toys, and appliances, and contaminated pharmaceuticals..

Americans fly the flag for July 4, as long as it’s not made in China - Times Online

There are laws now that require flags be made in the U.S. I kind of like it.
I don't see how a flag from China should fly over American Soil to represent American Independence.
