incoming ian

Isn't it just clean water to start with, and only becomes dishwater once you start washing dishes?
Clean water with soap and bleach in it. A really smart man would make a tub of dishwater and fill one sink with clean rinse water + 1/2 a cap of bleach. IF his dumbass could find the stopper to do something like that with a garbage-disposal-type sink. Well, I got the bathtub done. :auiqs.jpg:

It's raining and the wind is picking up. A branch just fell into the road.

Rain is only blowing at a 45-degree angle. It's not really happening until it blows sideways and up. :auiqs.jpg:
per usual the media is over blowing the possible impacts here and people are freaking out.

Latest update is Cape Coral and 25 miles to north and south are experiencing gusts to near 100mph and tidal surging of 3-5’ in 10-15 minutes. A phenomena of “blow out/suck out” tides has occurred last 3 hours, emptying some canals, locks and even Bays of most water which surges back in very rapidly. We are fearful of a tsunami like surge of 5-10’ in a minute or two but that’s not happened so far.
Even east central and southeast Florida coast may receive hurricane force gusts , Orlando also.
After that it’s hard to say but DC area still looks to be in some squalls by Sunday night as the remnants of the tropical system passes about 75 miles to DCs southwest

we are expecting severe weather on Friday

The surging on this has caught many off guard. Emergency services are receiving high water calls but with 80+mph winds they can’t go out.
Reports are very spotty and unconfined but our weather network is receiving surge report of 10-12’ where 5’ was predicted. There are still hours to go and high tide has not occurred. It’s unavoidable now as to drowning deaths. This well may be the legacy of Ian

I don't care how much we disagree here. If you are in Ian's path, good luck, stay safe and may God protect you.

Ian is the 8th hurricane to hit Florida's West Coast since the late '50's.
Prior to this the Florida west coast had 16 hurricanes before this since official meteorological records were kept! This according to preeminent weather and Hurricane forecaster Joe Bastardi, founder and owner of Weatherbell.

Conclusion: Jim Cantore and the Weather Channel and other Global Warming Cultists can go suck eggs!!

Besides, Joe Bastardi is my 3rd cousin, removed.....:laughing0301::laughing0301:.

We had nothing but STRONG winds and lots of rain here in Tampa. We lucked out. South of Sarasota - not lucky. Got hit hard. Storm surges big. Hope nobody got electrocuted.

you alive?

Ft Myers Beach almost obliterated, that looks like the worst.
Final outcome of Ian still unfolding as it looks to hit the central SC coast and then moves either nnw or nw from there.
