I bet they went super-scientific and measured those stick in meters instead of feet. Euros loves them some of that scientific metric system.

We don´t want stupid systems. Back then, a feet, an ell and all that shit had actually different lengths in every town. It was the total chaos. The French gave us the metric system and ended this bullshit.

You might think Germany would have some self-awareness on all this. But no, no, everything to them is America's fault. Soon enough they will believe Hitler was an American....
