Here we are... halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
Anyone else celebrating this Sabbat?
Personally I have an unusual ritual for this day, that I have done for years. I like to go for a long walk/run throughout the city, to appreciate the first signs of Spring. And I've lived in some huge cities.
Mostly running/ jogging at first, and then mostly walking towards the end.
I'll probably cover between twenty-five and thirty miles before midnight. Nothing too crazy but just enough to explore some places I'm not to familiar with. Its not about the exercise cause I can just run laps around the track whenever, and its not the same as hiking the desert in AZ and NV, but the goal of this ritual is about becoming more familiar with this massive city, on foot, and welcoming the next season and recognizing its early signs before it comes.
So I won't be posting any epic incantations today. Celebrate the Sabbat as you Will. Or don't.
