I'm sick of these lies about

"systemic racism". It's bullshit.

Black posters here, how many times this year has a white person called you a ****** right to your face?
And what percentage of the time were they threatening you or actually physically attacking you when they did so?
The act of calling a black person the n-word is not an example of systemic racism, it's more a symptom of racism or a racist mindset/belief system of that particular individual. In other words, if a white person believes that members of the white race are superior to members of the black race, then that's simply their opinion, uninformed though it may be. If however, because of this belief system, they cause harm to a black person (call in a mortgage, adverse actions in the workplace, refusal of a loan, etc.) due to this belief system (that black people are second class citizens and deserve to be mistreated) then they can be held accountable for their racists acts under specific civil rights and or hate crime laws. Even though these acts are done by individuals, their employers are generally the ones held liable.

If however there are systems in place that purposely, or covertly discriminate against black people such as 'redlining', refusal to sell property to blacks in certain neighborhoods, steering housing applicants towards subprime lenders and/or properties in neighborhoods that are less desirable, requiring blacks to anti-up via taxes for a multitude of services provided by the government which were, under segregation laws, "designated" as "separate but equal" but in reality were separate and subpar, then these are just a few examples of 'systemic racism' which is racism that is built into the system by design because many of these systems were constructed during a time black people were held in legal captivity one way or another.

Merely rescinding a law or passing a new one does nothing to change the hearts or minds of hard core racist who actually believe that God himself ordained the white race as the superior race and the "negro" race as the inferior one whose sole purpose for existence was to serve the white race. The additionally believed, and apparently some still do, that God meant these designations should exist for all time (original quote here)

A physical attack is not required for a threat to be made or for harassment to exist, it never has been.
So not once, then?
Is that what you were taking all day to say?
You can't start with a faulty premise and expect to obtain valid results.

The following is a concrete example of "systemic racism". If was created & executed after and in response to the landmark United States Supreme Court decision of Brown v Board of Education. As previously stated, enacting legislation does nothing to change hearts and minds particularly of hard core racists. If you need a current example of this just look at the response of some people who are asked to wear a mask due to COVID. The white woman who berated the black barista in a California Starbucks screamed at her "I don't have to do what you say" and "f__k Black Lives Matter" when no one had referenced BLM. It is not unreasonable to assume that the white woman made the derogatory comment about BLM simply due to the fact that she took offense to being instructed to pull up her mask by a black person. I would fully expect the same and much worse reaction to a white racist being told that they can't be racist anymore and can no longer treat black people as second class citizens, unfairly or discriminate against them simply due to their race.

Massive resistance was a strategy declared by U.S. Senator Harry F. Byrd Sr. of Virginia along with his brother-in-law as the leader in the Virginia General Assembly, Democratic Delegate James M. Thomson of Alexandria,[1] to unite white politicians and leaders in Virginia in a campaign of new state laws and policies to prevent public school desegregation, particularly after the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision in 1954.[2] Many schools, and even an entire school system, were shut down in 1958 and 1959 in attempts to block integration, before both the Virginia Supreme Court and a special three-judge panel of Federal District judges from the Eastern District of Virginia, sitting at Norfolk, declared those policies unconstitutional.
Although most of the laws created to implement massive resistance were overturned by state and federal courts within a year, some aspects of the campaign against integrated public schools continued in Virginia for many more years.
Perhaps 5 that I can recall

Dumb ass systemic racism has nothing to do with that. Furthermore there is more to white racism than that.

Racism today is practiced in a new way and it's not overt in practice but covert in policy. We now face perhaps an insidious and arrogant type of white racist backlash. Whites who are “tired of hearing” blacks and other non whites protesting and complaining about white racism. These are whites who have cried since the Civil Rights act was passed, making up a fake discrimination against whites they have taken to the supreme court time after time in the hopes of ending equal protection under the law for non-whites. This backlash takes several forms.

Modern racism, symbolic racism, symbolic prejudice, or racial resentment, are beliefs that reflect an underlying prejudice towards black and non-white people in the United States. The difference in modern racism than old time classic white racism is that the attacks focus on a groups culture. Modern racism is not face to face, it is primarily done online and in social media.

Aversive racism is a form of racism practiced today which might as well be called subtle racism. People who are aversive racists claim to be non racist while at the same time expressing negative feelings and beliefs about members of other races. It has also been called colorblind racism. However, since that term confuses some whites because they cannot understand why we can say they are colorblind and still be racist, we’ll stick with the term aversive racism. Regardless of its “subtlety”, aversive racism has resulted in significant and harmful consequences that basically mirror the effects of overt racism. These significant and harmful consequences are called entitlement reform, immigration, welfare reform, voter fraud and many other things that are actually policies designed to take away things from non-whites. “I’m colorblind and if you talk about racism, you are the racist”. This is how racism is played today.

So-called "liberals" are extremely embarrassed by the disproportionate amount of violent crime committed by certain folks, so they have come up with the excuse of systemic you-know-what.

Everyone is expected to follow the Democratic Party line on this topic, but most Americans know the brutal truth. In public, everyone nods his/her head in agreement; in private, everyone just shakes his/her head in astonishment.
Whites commit the disproportionate amount of violent crime. Most Americans know that.

A few thoughts:

Systemic Racism is not the same as overt racism. Being called a "name" is an example of overt racism, but the real problem the racism that actually harms people who are not "white." The claim is that there exists harmful racism that is not overt. It is the product of apparently innocuous activities that ultimately have the effect of harming Blacks.

The "proof" of systemic racism is the manifest INEQUALITY of Blacks in our society. The PRESUMPTION is that the inequality is the result of this systemic racism.

But that argument falls flat on its face, when confronted with the realities of Black existence in America. Blacks are mainly raised by single women - about 70% of them. Blacks are disproportionately involved in petty criminality, substance abuse, and other harmful cultural patterns. To expect the masses of Blacks to succeed economically under the circumstances is ludicrous. To claim that it is racism and not Blacks' own choices that explains inequality is not a tenable position. Surely, racism plays a part but it simply does not seem to play the significant role that is claimed.

This is ignorant and wrong.

Josh Levs points this out in his new book, “All In,” in a chapter titled “How Black Dads Are Doing Best of All (But There’s Still a Crisis).” One fact that Levs quickly establishes is that most black fathers in America live with their children: “There are about 2.5 million black fathers living with their children and about 1.7 million living apart from them.”

The root cause of the problems blacks face is white racism. Half of white marriages end in divorce. But white women have benefitted the most from AA therefore they are able to better support their children without a man in the house. This is caused by white racism.

People need to tolerate each other. But give space to what they are and have a little give and take. Religion would say to lover your brother. That would be better. But that is not going to happen.

OK. Was there systematic racism in 1962 ?

*Black posters here, how many times this year has a white person called you a ****** right to your face?*

Now see what you have done there. You say systematic racism is B.S and then you go on to describe what you think racism is and because you think racism is name calling. You ask how many times has a blk person been called a name by white people in the last six months.

For me ? None. But systematic racism still exists.

Frankly a white or non black person can call me a n&gger all day. I don't really care about name calling I care about the global system of white supremacy.

Systemic racism does not mean that there are lots of horrible racists in every HR department, police station, or classroom.

Systemic racism doesn’t require any such persons to exist at all. Obviously, some do, but they are mostly irrelevant to a discussion of systemic racism because systemic racism is, wait for it…systemic.

As such, it is concerned with the functioning of institutions and structures and how racism becomes sedimented in the operations of society, with or without deliberate and bigoted intent. It describes the process by which unequal opportunities, life chances, and outcomes obtain depending on one’s race.

Not to get personal, but one must wonder whether IM2 is stupid, delusional, or simply a liar.

"...2.5 million black fathers living with their children and about 1.7 million living apart from them..." What the fuck does this have to do with anything? If those 2.5Mil have one kid each and the 1.7Mil are NFL stars with 7 little bastards living in three different states...? THE REAL STATISTIC is, how many Black kids are being raised by single mothers? And the answer is AT LEAST 2/3. And single-mom-kids are statistically correlated with just about every social evil, from truancy, drug abuse, and petty criminality to felonious lifestyles. (Not so for single-dad households, but that's another discussion). And as for white-divorcee single moms, their kids fare better because WHITE PEOPLE TEND TO SUPPORT THEIR OWN RELATIVES after a divorce, and white fathers have more resources from which to plunder in Family Court.

"Whites commit the disproportionate amount of violent crime." Are you shitting me? BLACK MALES (6% of the population) commit 44% of all violent crime in America. FACT. To deny it is to deny reality.

To the point: Systemic Racism is a myth that loser-Blacks cling to in order to justify their failure to adhere to middle-class values and succeed. No white racist forces Black girls to have babies, or forces Black kids to scorn education and adopt petty criminality as a lifestyle. That is on Blacks, nobody else. And until you start, as a sub-society - to play by the rules, your claims that "it's all about racism" will be rejected by anyone with eyes and a brain.

That's either True or False.

Either that is true and black people are commiting violent crimes all over the country.

Or it's false and that white people create these stats in order to justify mistreating blk ppl.

No white racist forces Black girls to have babies,

The solution is very simple but you're not going to like it though

A massive investment in opportunities for black women for schooling and jobs, globally.

You see the gap between the differential birth rates between black and white women is a function of the very inequalities guys like you demand be kept in place.

Women with access to education and better jobs have fewer kids than women without.

This is true for all ethnic groups at all times in history.

It’s why immigrant working-class “whites” who came to the United States regularly had 5–10 kids but their descendants don’t.

As white women gained opportunity, they reduced their birth rates, while black women (And other women of color) have higher rates.

There is a reason why U.S birth rates for black women with degrees are now equal to (or even slightly lower than) those for white women with degrees.

It's why black birth rates generally have fallen dramatically as opportunities have expanded.

But of course, guys like you will never call for wealthy nations to invest more in expanding opportunities for black women, even though this would “solve” your stupid replacement fears.

Likewise, you would never support a more equitable distribution of global resources to poorer nations, even though doing so would slow the migration patterns to so-called white countries, which are a function of global economic inequalities
