An expert in fraternity hazing deaths says coddling parents are part of the problem

I'd say hazing has been around since kids chose sides- then again, if it's gotten out of hand than there is a much bigger problem- it brings me to the conclusion of a lack of respect. That says to me the parents are THE problem, not just a "part"-

It starts with a lack of respect- if respect isn't shown self respect doesn't exist and hurting someone else for fun is disrespectful on both counts- that starts at home. Period.

What's different now...is that the old parents (now grandparents) looking at the parenting and shreiking "kids these days" THEN...
