I'm a psychology expert in Finland, the No. 1 happiest country in the world—here are 3 things we never do

The U.S. supports more illegals in a month than the entire population of Finland about 5.2 million. Finland is a happy country because everyone is freaking drunk.

Google up GDP. While you are at it you can find that alcohol abuse is a number one problem for the tiny nation of 5 million Finns.

It used to work, when our 'diversity' overwhelmingly consisted of the various European cultures, with the emphasis on one language that united us.
Today, is a completely different matter. We've become more 'tribal' and fewer and fewer people see America as that "shining city on the hill", as Reagan put it.
Today, more and more people here view America as nothing more than the country that was founded on slavery and genocide, and their mission is to change it, rather than immerse themselves in it.
I agree with past remarks by German Chancellor Merkel, when she famously said "the so-called "multikulti" concept - where people would "live side-by-side" happily - did not work, and immigrants needed to do more to integrate - including learning German."
She added: "We kidded ourselves a while, we said: 'They won't stay, sometime they will be gone', but this isn't reality."
"And of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side-by-side and to enjoy each other... has failed, utterly failed."
Okay, Boomer

Google GDP.

Okay, here's what I found, and Cuba is higher than I would have thought.

The #1 thing they should continue to do, is to not allow the third-world in.
Yes, I know there is some migration to Finland, but it's very limited. Should that change, they will regret it. Right now, they are mostly ethnically homogeneous, and they should fight like hell to keep it that way.

Finns happiness derives from a progressive society where there is less inequality and people are given the chance to succeed through their excellent education system.
Finland itself is not really a place I would hurry back to. Helsinki is a drab place, Talinn is a lot more fun and Finns take the short ferry ride there every weekend.

I'm guessing one of the three things is not having a debate about the "logic" of everyone being armed and the 30,000 gun deaths that come with it.

Smaller countries who do not have to involve themselves in war or dealing with other nations’ problems have a big advantage. . I see Finland and the three Scandinavian countries are all very high on the "happy list." . Well, great. . But I maintain that is because this study is measuring temporal or earthly factors, only.

In other words, happiness is overrated. . Because no one escapes death, or tragedy around us or among family members and other earthly sorrows. . So what really gives a soul joy and peace? Not money or family or health or weather. . It is the gift of knowing the one true God, and that one is doing all they can to pray, obey, serve God and your fellow man. . Then one can be reasonably assured when they die they will ultimately make it to heaven. . I say ultimately because purgatory is a painful, often very long ordeal where we are purified before being allowed into heaven. . And very few go straight to heaven, according to saints and heavenly visitors. -------- Not here to argue, just to provide a very different perspective.
