Yes. It's been going on for years. Illegal aliens using the IRS to scam the US taxpayer.
This report exposed the scam in May of 2012. And at the end of this informative expose', the IRS itself states >> "The IRS continues to work to refine and improve our processes.”

Yeah ? Well a year and a half has gone by since. So has anything been "refined" ? Anything been "improved" ? Anything been done by anybody ? Anything ? Does anybody know ? Or do illegal aliens just keep pillaging us, and laughing about it ?

IRS field agent: Here?s how illegals scam system

Wow, how can they get away with that?

Perhaps by irresponsible legislators who should be taking action and don't because they want the illegals' VOTES. People need to watch closer what "their" legislators are doing. If the IRS does not currently have the legal authority to verify and disallow the Child Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit during return processing, simply because of the lack of documentation, then Congress needs to make them have that authority.

The legislators are the problem. This is the Dems opportunity to get these illegals into the voting mainstream and bugger the system for good. We cannot support these scams much longer as a nation and a people.

They're just law abiding people looking for jobs to take care of their families. They're not a drain on the economy. Not at all.

Okay, one scam among hundreds exposed. Good for you. How about the rest? Ya know the ones that don't involve illegals........... I guess it's not important that people are still being targeted by sophisticated scams where people posing as IRS agents are threatening arrest or deportation (for non-citizens) if they don't pay the (claimed) amount due immediately.
But that doesn't matter does it..... Real Americans are perpetrating the scam so it's okay........

FALSE!

1. They are criminals the minute they cross the Mexican border into the US, without inspection by immigration authorities (TITLE 8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER II > Part VIII > § 1325) >> 8 U.S. Code | LII / Legal Information Institute

2. Immigrants (legal and illegal) remove $48 Billion/year from the US economy (which otherwise would be going to US businesses) by wiring remittances$$$$$ back to their home countries ($25 Billion/yr to Mexico alone)

3. Working immigrants harm the US economy also, because the little money they do spend (15 people living in 1 house) is far less than US residents would, + the lower wages they receive + their living habits, which are very low-spend due to the large remittances$$ they send.

4. Immigrants harm the US economy by tapping the tax treasuries for welfare $$. And there are more of them receiving welfare than native-born residents.

4. Illegal aliens have a much higher crime rate (in addition to their EWI criminality) than Americans. ALL their crime is additional crime that diverts money away from economy-constructive projects.

Oh, come on. So what if they scam the IRS out of some $10,000 a year? That's nothing. We're America, we're the richest country in the world. Did you know that if you divide the GDP for 2012 evenly for each individual in the country, it comes out to be about $8700? These illegals, they're just taking their fair share however they can. It's their money too, ya know. They have a right to be here just like everyone else.

I was a target of one of those scams. I am Hispanic, and a scammer, speaking to me in Spanish, tried to do just what you say. I laughed at him and told him I was born in the US, 67 years ago, and served 5 years in the US military back in the 60s.

There are other scammers around too. One of them called me and threatened me about a payday loan I hadn't paid back, years ago. He demanded I send him money immediately. He said he was a Sheriff's Dept sergeant, and would send a citation he had, to my local police dept. HA HA. I asked him what agency he worked for. At first he hesitated to answer. I pressed him. He said he worked for the Missouri County Sheriff Dept. I said "where's that ?". He said in Missouri. Doing a quick Google check, I discovered there is no Missouri County anywhere in the world. I told him that, and also that cops don't ask people for money. He hung up.

There are scammers who will intrude on your computer too. In general, if they threaten + ask for money, they're a fraud.

Sure, there's plenty of other bad guys around, and I've talked about them too, many times, but right now I'm talking about THESE bad guys, OK ? Now back to the TOPIC.

Are you nuts ? They have absolutely NO RIGHT whatsoever to be here. It most certainly is NOT their money, (they don't HAVE a "fair share"), it is US taxpayer's money, which they (in large part) don't pay, when they work under the table, off the books, and pay very little taxes whenever they do pay them (because of their low wages). And they shouldn't even be in those jobs, which they are swiping away from American unemployed people.

And what do you mean by "they scam the IRS out of some $10,000 a year"? What are you > A scammer too ? Yes, $10,000/year would be nothing, if that's all they were scamming us for (as you ludicrously tried to scam us in to thinking just now). Fact is, a single one of their thousand of scams amount to more than $10,000, so nice try, Bernie (as is Bernie Madoff)

Here's the words of an IRS employee talking about the scams (from the link story in the OP) >> “Here’s a return right here: we’ve got a $10,300 refund for nine nieces and nephews.”

“We’re getting an $11,000 refund on this tax return. There’s seven nieces and nephews,” he said, pointing to another set of documents. “I can bring out stacks and stacks."

So maybe YOU need to "come on". And tell us what your dog is in this fight. Are you one of these scammers ? Is that what's itching you, Bernie ?

Violating forum rules??!! You're obviously clueless. :lmao:
(Psst! Here's a clue, I helped write/clarify the rules.)
Please, it's painfully plain what I mean by Illegal Aliens, even you should be able to figure that out.

Dude. We all know what illegal aliens are. So what about them ? What are you saying is an "agenda" that I have ? If you have the courage to back up your ocnvictions, SPEAK UP. Stop hiding under that desk.

As for your violation of rules, if you made them, then you shouldn't have any trouble deciphering how you're violating them, right ? Especially since I've already told you. Here's a little tutoring for you on the rules, since you seem to be a bit lacking in that department. From >> "Site Wide Rules And Guidelines:" >> "Off-topic posts may be edited, trashed, deleted, or moved to an appropriate forum as per administrator & moderator discretion at any time within any forum and/or sub forum."

"My topic is your myopic focus to propagate your agenda" you said. Problem there is, YOUR TOPIC there is OFF TOPIC to this thread. Get it ?

And can't back up your word "nic; either, huh ? You're one of the biggest cowards I've ever seen in this forum. Well, as the Rock of WWE fame would say >> IT DOESN'T MATTER what "nic" means.
