If the UN goes belly up---

International law is, was, and always will be based on nations signing treaties with each other. Even the UN gets its "power" from nations allowing it to have certain powers. So if the UN fails, then the world will be no worse off - in fact, I say we will be better off.

That's pretty much what I figured. Now it just looks like the Tower of Babel except some gave them interpreters ( Like that helps anything).
