Trump is showing the corrupt washington establishment what real leadership looks like

A typical day for him involves signing dozens of executive orders dealing with climate change by pulling out of the Paris Accords, to banning DEI, or firing the US Coast Guard Commander for incompetence

Then he’s in North Carolina reviewing the hurricane damage, where he was very critical of FEMA, then off to california where he was hinted that there will strings attached to federal relief efforts there

And by the way, Pete Hegeseth is now the new Sec of Defense when a month ago that seemed impossible

Yes lib trump haters,

Be afraid, be very afraid

What the "left" should be worried about is its support for one half of the duopoly that couldn't even field a candidate capable of defeating Trump. "Left" and "right" need better alternatives, and so does America.

I suspect the task of finding a winning presidential candidate in 2028 to run against trump’s successor is getting more difficult all the time, as trump blossoms into the most exciting new leader since JFK

/—-/ You’re correct about the Left, but we on the Right have the perfect candidate. We elected him POTUS.

"Left" and "right" have been made useless terms by recent distortions in discourse. When we look at the majority of American voters, they do not favor either of the duopoly's darlings. They do not favor the orientations and programs of the duopoly. They would like to see alternatives, but the system is rigged so that only "Democrats" or "Republicans" can be elected.
Trump only "won" because his opponent was so woefully inadequate. It isn't that he is great, but that the choice was so poor. He owes his term to that fact.
America is led by lesser undesirables, and that is not adequate for the most powerful nation ever.

Who are you trying to gaslight? The majority of voters favored Trump enough to elect him POTUS with all of the swing states to boot.
Try harder, you dope.

Captain Trump of the RMS Titanic

There isn't any iceberg.
There was an iceberg, but it's in a totally different ocean.
The iceberg is in this ocean, but it will melt very soon.
There is an iceberg, but we didn't hit the iceberg.
We hit the iceberg, but the damage will be repaired very shortly.
The iceberg is a Chinese iceberg.
We are taking on water, but every passenger who wants a lifeboat can get a lifeboat, and they are beautiful lifeboats.
Look, passengers need to ask nicely for the lifeboats if they want them.
We don't have any lifeboats, we're not lifeboat distributors.
Passengers should have planned for icebergs and brought their own lifeboats.
I really don't think we need that many lifeboats.
We have lifeboats and they're supposed to be our lifeboats, not the passengers' lifeboats.
The lifeboats were left on shore by the last captain of this ship.
Nobody could have foreseen the iceberg.

Passengers planned for icebergs, Hence when we hit one in 2021, and we were taking on water, leading to a majority of the country worse off, we threw out a lifeline in 2024 and elected to jump on a better brighter ship

There is now hope on the arisen and sunny days ahead

Trump won because the people wanted him to do EXACTLY what he's doing now! The very stark difference between Joe Biden's administration and Trump is so obvious it borders on farce to critique him. He has momentum and he's using that momentum to keep the GOP in line and get his agenda rolling. Gavin Newsome was the liberal "next in waiting" but with what's been happening in California he'll be lucky to hold onto the Governor's mansion! So who do you see stepping forward for the Dems? Their bench is woefully thin.

That makes no sense.

Clinton might be a harpy but she won a contested primary and even won the popular vote with her loss in the general. Hardly inadequate.

2020 was a rigged election so I don't even count that one.

2024 was a just a total misstep by the dems, they panicked by getting shed of FJB and had nobody on deck that could beat Trump. That and their policies up and down the board were so FUBAR (with no moderation in sight) that Americans had enough of them.... Hence the rout.

The gop has needed a shot in the arm and Trump gave it to them.

The dems may never rise again because they don't learn from their mistakes, they double down on them.

100% true.

The so-called "left" will push a very unpopular "woke" agenda that ends up alienating people and pushing them to the only other alternative available, and one of Trump's first actions as President was pardoning a bunch of thugs who trashed the Capitol building and attacked the police.

Now the pendulum swings all all the way from the left to the far right, and Trump will now show us all extreme rightwing politics, bypassing laws, breaking laws, and answering to no one but himself. His nonsensical ramblings, his tenuous grasp on reality will all be papered over by his always faithful cult, but for a majority of us, we have gone from bad to worse.

What you fail to consider is that the "laws" the dems beat us over the head for four years with are considered unjust by most Americans so they don't give a shit if they are "flaunted". They just want some common sense exhibited.....dem passed laws be damned.

Americans rejected everything the dems stood for so go ahead and keep beating the dead horse of J6 and the like.....I triple dog dare ya.....We will slaughter you again in the mid-terms.

The trickle down theory is a sound one if it is followed. However, it is not, as it trickles down there is an enormous bulging in the middle of it that saps most of the trickle from inefficient grifters who get paid for doing little. What is left gets to those intended. FEMA is one example of many government departments. Look at the government employees who do not want to leave their homes to go to work and still get paid.

Of course they are, attacking the police, smashing furniture, and trashing the Capitol building should all be considered legal.

But that was just day one, ignoring, bypassing, or breaking existing laws will be commonplace under Trump, and he always has that core group, which includes you, who will always be close behind, making excuses why it is justified.

I don't envy anyone who has to try and explain what Trump means when he starts spouting his nonsense. Listening to him speak makes George W. Bush sound erudite and polished. The blanket pardons for the J6 thuggery has already won the Dems the midterms, and Trump has two more years to double down on that mistake.

I'm not sure the Dems have a strategy about how to capitalize on any of this, as clueless and tone deaf as they have proven to be.

See what I mean, your ilk just can't get off that J6 nag.....Good, you can ride it all the way to the glue factory.

For the neocons it was the WMD's, for Trump, it is J6.

Both are disqualifiers of ever getting my vote.

Of course, there are plenty of other examples from which to choose, those two being the most egregious.
