Most lean one way or the other but what I find encouraging is that most of these voters embrace at least some issue on each side of the pollical spectrum as well as some issues that have little support by either side. The republican or democrat stereotype is just that, a stereotype. The right and left spectrum is very wide encompassing raving radicals which seem to be very common on USMB to those with little interest in political ideologies or issues.Voters always matter in an election because their voting decisions determine who will lead the nation. Does party, mainstream media, Facebook, Twitter, USMB, local news outlets, TV adds, talk radio etc influence voters? Of course it does but voters make their decision the old fashion way. They listen to their spouse, their minister, their next door neighbor. They consider the candidates position on abortion, business, healthcare, government spending, basketball, aliens, space travel, global warming, and the price of milk. And of course the personal stuff such as the candidates wife, how he smiles and frowns and thousand of other factors that have nothing to do with the ability to lead the nation.Which is something that needs to happen in both parties. We send people to Washington to represent us, not the party.But I think you guys may lose Romney and he becomes an Independent.

Those days are long over. The Party apparatchiks took over the voting process decades ago. That's why we have only had the choice of the lesser of two evils.
That's all the political parties would give us. Now, it is obvious to anyone with a brain that the political class controls the country and they just successfully eliminated voting at the national level.

I believe Americans are far liberal than they care to admit. Although most Americans embrace the cornerstones of conservative ideology, God, Country, self responsibility, and small government, they are far more likely to support liberal issues than most conservatives issues. The focus on division and bigotry can obscure views that most Americans share, especially when it comes to such matters as economic fairness, protecting the environment, and the drift toward plutocracy. We KNOW that slightly more than 52% of the American population is moderate/conservative. So how is it that ultra left wingers are constantly winning elections? We here in Nevada have had to contend with a corrupt vote run by the dems, with their allies the SEIU in Clark County for years. We KNOW they steal elections. We have watched it happen. I was there when the DEMS stole the nomination from Bernie. Now we KNOW that the progressive left has gained control over the national voting systems. There is no need to vote any longer. They can tell people "move to Georgia for the election ( a FELONY) and nothing happens to them.
If you aren't smart enough to figure out what is happening right in front of you then you are clearly a product of the progressive left public education system and you are incapable of independent thinking, which has been their goal for decades.
