After all, if the Boy Scouts organization denounces homosexuality, then they should practice what they preach and admit girls, because boys who won't have anything with girls are almost by definition gay.

You can have the same discussion about YMCA vs. YWCA. The one being a fitness club, and the other a shelter for abused women. Women being welcome at the YMCA, but certainly not the other way around because the local church authorities enforce an unwritten rule that any woman who has ever called the cops on a good Christian man is thereafter, in effect, a lesbian, not permitted to date or marry a man again in a Christian church.
