I think it's important to take a good look at the Up for Election Senate map for 2020

This was the 2018 Map:

Notice how many Blue States were up for re election? And with Democrats having nearly triple the number of seats up, Republicans only won a meager two more than they had.

Now this is 2020:

A lot of states there that have been trending Blue. And, this will be a presidential election with possibly Trump running at 30%.

And this is 2022:

I think there is a lot of possibility of picking up enough seats to control the Senate with a super majority. Hopefully, Trump stays in office and continues to lie and damage the image of the GOP.

Unless they find Trump guilty of major felonies. If they do and Republicans defend him, they will be slaughtered at the ballot box.

Clearly, the people being hurt the most are Republicans in Red States. Not only that, the new Trans Pacific Trade pact leaves out the US. The biggest consumer of US Beef, Japan, can now by from Australia at 27% cheaper. Wheat from Canada at 14% cheaper.

And the US is stockpiling millions of tons of soybeans:

In 2016 and 2017, the U.S. exported 67,854,202 metric tons of soybeans to China, which was good for about 60% of total U.S. soybean exports during those two years.

In 2018, amid trade tensions, China basically stopped importing U.S. soybeans: Through September 2018, U.S. soybean exports China were down 98% compared to 2017. At the same time, the USDA forecasted that soybean production for 2018 will be an increase of 7% from 2017.

As a result, U.S. soybean inventory is poised to reach an estimated 955 million bushels in 2019, nearly doubling the 2018 stockpile.

I was watching interviews this morning of people being affected by the shutdown.

Trump made the mistake of saying he owns this shutdown and he's glad he did it.

So when people are asked about the next election, the younger corn belt and rust belt voters are saying they will vote Democrat or for a Trump challenger. They know who claimed ownership, regardless of what Trump is saying now.

I think we are beginning to see a bit of a "Trump Tune Out".

Can't wait for the next Trump "Rally".
