I predict Biden will criticize Israel for bombing the AP building in Gaza.

If you were ever actually a Republican you'd know that is a lie. You're just proving again you're a lifelong brainless greedy Democrat

Sorry, man, I know historical perspectives confuse you... back to the Libertarian Kiddy Table with you, the grownups are talking.

You were a Republican until eight years ago, then you became a socialist and believe every Democrat talking point about what Republicans think. And you think libertarian's are anarchists AND statists ... at the same time ...

You have every attitude and believe every cult Democrat bull shit, you never voted for anyone but a Democrat in your life. You're the fakest ex-Republican ever, and that's noteworthy given all the leftist morons like you who claim they went to bed one day as a conservative and woke up a communist.

Did Karl Marx visit you in a dream? Where there three visitors that Christmas eve? LOL.

So do you actually believe a conservative is going to say OMG, Joe's a communist and he used to be a Republican!?!?! Gimme some of that fascism, baby! I'm in!

Yeah, no ...

Conservatism in the legal sense is fine because its ideal is to preserve the system of checks and balances that keeps down government corruption.
Fiscal conservatism also is fine, in that debt is theft from future generations.
But that does not mean we should not try to be progressive and liberal when necessary, like civil rights or ending injustice like Prohibition, the War on Drugs and other things government should not be doing.

You were a Republican until eight years ago, then you became a socialist and believe every Democrat talking point about what Republicans think. And you think libertarian's are anarchists AND statists ... at the same time ...

Actually, I believe Libertarians are children with arrested development. The problem was 12 years ago, Republicans didn't let the crazies take over. Five minutes after the black guy got elected, they completely lost their shit.

I remember well a conference they had of the upcoming Republican talent. You had Mitt Romney, who thinks he wears magic underwear; Sarah Palin, who hangs out at a church where a witch-hunter was an honored guest; Bobby Jindal, who once performed an exorcism on a college roommate, and Mike Huckabee, who thinks the Rapture is really gonna happen.

Now, the GOP has been pandering to the religious crazies pretty much since Tricky Dick invited Gold-Plated hypocrite Billy Graham to pray with him. But up until that point, they always kept the crazies at arms length.

You have every attitude and believe every cult Democrat bull shit, you never voted for anyone but a Democrat in your life. You're the fakest ex-Republican ever, and that's noteworthy given all the leftist morons like you who claim they went to bed one day as a conservative and woke up a communist.

Not at all. I realize I was supporting the wrong side when my douchebag ex boss fucked up my career and proudly announced, this is why I'm glad don't have to deal with a union. I realize that if I want to live like a Republican, I needed to vote for a Democrat.

I would LOVE to be able to say I turned on the GOP when Bush lied us into Iraq or fucked up the response to Katrina. Those things didn't effect me personally.

The ironic thing is, the GOP used to get that there needed to be a balance between the interests of the working class and the investor class. I would say they got that up unto Reagan. Then they figured out they could get working class whites to vote against their own economic interests by playing on their racial, sexual and religious fears.

So do you actually believe a conservative is going to say OMG, Joe's a communist and he used to be a Republican!?!?! Gimme some of that fascism, baby! I'm in!

No, man.

I've watch "Family Values" conservatives rationalize why a guy was fucking a porn star while his third wife was at home with his fifth child.
I've watched National Defense Conservatives rationalize it when Trump pulled the rug out form under our allies, the Kurds and undermine alliances.
I've watched Fiscal Conservatives rationalize EIGHT TRILLION in new debt.
I've watched "libertarians" justify throwing small children into cages without due process of law.

If there was an underlying philosophical basis to conservatism, it had been dying for a long time before a stake was driven through its heart in 2016. I just saw where it was all going long before you got there.

I used to be a republican until I was about 13 or so and realized that my heroes like Eisenhower and Goldwater were fairly ignorant when it came to things like economics or justice, and were just a warrior mentality.
Vietnam prevented me from ever having any association with the military, as it was so obvious to me that Ho Chi MInh was a national hero for liberating Vietnam from the French, and our military was outright on the side of evil.

You became a Democrat as a 13 year old because you suddenly realized that socialists were the ones who truly understood economics.

That's pretty funny, that is what a 13 year old might do.

It was when you continued to believe that stupid shit as an adult you became a moron

You always show your lies with your attitudes.

The only reason to support the popular vote over the electoral college is because you're a collectivist, which means a Democrat. Which you clearly were in 2000. No conservative would have a problem with it because we believe in State rights. Not ever having been anything but a left wing socialist Democrat moon bat, you of course wouldn't know that.

The United States was never meant to be tyranny of the majority, States were meant to provide most of government. A conservative would grasp that means that national democracy is irrelevant. Yet you think all power is with the Federal government and that means that the Electoral college tramples your right to trample the rights of the minority. Your attitude is pure Democrat.

Second, everything you ever argue is for total government control of the economy, socialism. Again, Democrat.

And finally, you have no idea what Republicans think at all. Yet you keep lying you were one for most of your life. Well, then why do you have no idea at all in any way what Republicans think? You just believe fully the Democrat propaganda about what Republicans think. You're a Nazi who claims to have been a Jew. Sure you were.

Your story is lame. You don't know anything other than what Democrats think and you think Republicans and libertarians think what Democrats think we think, you know nothing more. You were never anything but a Democrat, it's lame.

That you were a conservative and yet a collectivist is just more of your stupid shit

Interesting.
But a few observations.
All federal elections have to always be collectivist.
The details as to how you do it, electoral vs popular vote, is not that different.
I do personally like the idea of reducing the impact/power of large population centers, but I would not call that "states rights".
States can't have rights.
Only individuals can have rights.
States have jurisdiction, and by being closer to the people, can better represent the inherent rights of individuals.

Non-sequitur. In your propaganda you're mixing unrelated terms. For example, saying an election is "collectivist" makes no sense. What does that even mean? I'm sure whatever you meant by that there's a term for it that makes sense rather than your making up a new use for a term that doesn't in that context. Sounds like Marxist propaganda, frankly

You're not a liberal, you're a leftist. As a libertarian, l'm a liberal. Liberals are open to new thoughts and ideas and believe government should be minimally intrusive at all times. I believe all those things, you believe none of them.

Take civil rights for example where as a liberal my views are already covered by the law. Think about it, government is the problem. Government forced people into government schools, then government segregated them. Government did Jim Crow. It is already illegal to lynch people, burn crosses in their yards. Government offered in "civil rights" as a solution to a problem that was entirely ... government.

Even the bus company of Montgomery OPPOSED laws that forced their best customers to the back and to stand. Businesses only want to do business with one color. Green. Enforcing existing laws and free markets would have solved the problem.

But what did leftists do? You solved the government discrimination power with government and made civil rights a government power where government had more power to discriminate. It's the sick as fuck things that leftists always do. Knock it off

Wow, seriously, did you just say that? The fact was, the Jim Crow laws just reflected the attitudes of Southern Whites to keep those people in their place. It wasn't just government agencies that enforced Jim Crow laws, it was private companies as well.

I used to be a republican until I was about 13 or so and realized that my heroes like Eisenhower and Goldwater were fairly ignorant when it came to things like economics or justice, and were just a warrior mentality.

I was in the military for 11 years, and frankly, still have fond memories.

All that said, both parties got us into Vietnam. If there is one thing I always despised about Democrats and kind of still do, it's how they don't have the backs of our men in uniform. LBJ got us into Vietnam because he didn't want the REpublicans saying, "Who Lost Vietnam". Nixon to his credit, got us out, but to his discredit, dragged getting out much too long and escalated the carnage to get Hanoi to the bargaining table.

Actually, when the FBI started targeting the Democratic party's KKK, they were overflowed with informers inside the KKK. Turns out most people didn't want to actually do anything to blacks, they were just afraid of the extremists too.

But who am I telling? You know this well. It's the exact same thing you do with socialism. No one wants to be robbed, so you convince people to vote to commit armed robbery under the protection of government.

Racism under the protection of government, armed robbery under the protection of government. You do the same thing with your racism as you do with your socialism. It works, why reinvent the wheel? I mean sure you're a racist and a fascist, but the only part of that you object to are the words

Not just socialists understand economics, but clearly socialism is usually less expensive and more fair. For example, the farmers near by were not making any money because of the cost of trucking grain to the distant grain elevators silos.
Using socialism, we got the people to vote in a public bond to pay for local grain elevators, that benefited everyone.
Private grain elevators would have constantly cost more, forever.
Capitalism has its place for innovation and efficiency in decision making, but always costs every one else more.
And example is fossil fuel.
Every other country in the world have a public oil companies because it makes not sense to sell the oil in the ground for ten cents on the dollar.

The word "collective" means many people doing something together. Like we pool taxes to build roads, pay fire departments, have public schools, etc.
If you think if it as centralized instead of local control, then you are thinking of it wrong.
Conservatives believe in doing things collectively as well.

That is not true.
It was the wealthy that created and wanted discrimination.
They did not want to pay fair wages.
Sure the wealthy used government then to enforce the unfairness, but it is also true that only the government can stop the unfairness.

The government did not force people into government schools, but made government schools available to those who otherwise could not have afforded any school at all.
And there is no "bus company of Montgomery".
It was a public transportation company owned and run by the city.
Nor did the driver have to call the police to fine Rosa Parks.
He wanted to.

"socialism is usually less expensive and more fair"

The obvious reason why socialism saves money, is that no one has to make a profit from it.
Imagine if the VA were not socialist for example, and we had to pay private hospitals to hire the doctors instead of the VA.
It would cost likely 3 times as much as the VA does.

The word "collective" means many people doing something together. Like we pool taxes to build roads, pay fire departments, have public schools, etc.
If you think if it as centralized instead of local control, then you are thinking of it wrong.
Conservatives believe in doing things collectively as well.

When you do something "collectively," that means by choice, not at the point of a gun

Sure, which is why we create government, police, etc., to prevent people from using force to extort us.

You're just vomiting Marx. Cut the bigotry. We're all people. Some of us are cool and some of you suck in every group

Socialism saves money only because you're a blind ideologue who will believe anything. Even things as stupid as socialism saves money

Actually, when the FBI started targeting the Democratic party's KKK, they were overflowed with informers inside the KKK. Turns out most people didn't want to actually do anything to blacks, they were just afraid of the extremists too.

OR people of low character will sell each other out. The FBI also had informants (not informers) in the Black Panthers and a lot of the radical anti-War left.

But who am I telling? You know this well. It's the exact same thing you do with socialism. No one wants to be robbed, so you convince people to vote to commit armed robbery under the protection of government.

Wow, really? You are really going to keep comparing paying your fair share in taxes to armed robbery.

Racism under the protection of government, armed robbery under the protection of government. You do the same thing with your racism as you do with your socialism. It works, why reinvent the wheel? I mean sure you're a racist and a fascist, but the only part of that you object to are the words

Actually, what object to is the right using racism and fascism to put the boot of the rich on the working man.

Which is what the GOP has been doing since Tricky Dick. Trump just says the quiet part out loud.
