Is this true? Are the Feds forcing hospitals to lean on their workers to be vaccinated by refusing to pay them is they don't get the workers to comply?

I ran across this old post from 2017 about flu shots. Pay attention to the second paragraph. It explains a lot $$$.

This healthcare worker refused a flu shot mandated by the hospital she was employed with. Employees were told they would be vaccinated or terminated. We're told to believe the reason flu shots are mandated is because of safety.

She had to appear before a hospital committee after her refusal. They explained that they would lose Medicare and Medicaid payments from the government unless they reported that 90% of their workers received the flu shot.

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so.

If it were true, then all hospital workers would already be vaccinated for Covid, but many of them are not. And that is now, not 2017.
