I mean, who doesn't love their curmudgeon uncle but many Democrats doubt his electability and that of pretty much all on their 2020 clown car except perhaps Slo-Joe who, unfortunately, doesn't know where he is. Add to that the reluctance of many Americans to vote for a woman to be POTUS - at least those currently running - and the Democrat Socialist Party fear is clear and justified: Rep. Al Green: "I'm Concerned If We Don't Impeach This President, He Will Get Re-Elected"

Yeah … impeach the POTUS because we can't beat him.

'I love Bernie, but': Electability worries haunt Sanders
Democrats are petrified that Trump will win a second term, and many are telling pollsters that they care more about whether candidates can take him on than their policy positions.

"I love Bernie,” said Gloria Hoag, a New Hampshire delegate, at the state Democratic Party’s annual convention last weekend. “But I don't know if he can beat Trump because he's so far to the left. We need someone who's a little more moderate.”

Kamala Harris, anyone?

Bernie would have won in 2016 but thanks to corrupt D party leadership and their colluding friends in the MSM, a well known corporatist crook got the nomination. She was so bad Bernie voters ignored her and she lost to a reality show conman. LOL!

The D Party has learned nothing. They want another corporatist to get the nomination, to appease their billionaire donors. The people be damned.

A rare admission of honesty by Rep. Green. Medicated America won't care. They want the drama.

No. Well yes to later part, but not so had Bernie won. He is a real progressive anti war candidate not owned by Wall Street.

Who would bankrupt the poor and middle class and put us all in his inferior "government programs." Glad he lost. Glad his time is over. The People won.

Did no one inform the Democrat party of the second possibility. They will impeach Trump, fall flat on their faces, and Trump gets re-elected but now with double the votes.

I believe not, as no one informed them about the optimal winning strategy either, which is to have a decent pro-American candidate in the run.

He would have won the Democrat nomination only.

This is the Nixon-McGovern electoral map by county. McGovern only won Massachusetts and DC. With the socialist policies that the 2020 democrats are running on (see below) can Trump duplicate the Nixon landslide? Probably not, but Mulvaney predicts a 45 state Trump wipeout if the dems are dumb enough to impeach Trump. The dems probably keep CA, NY, MA, IL, and RI. Is the USA ready for socialism?

There are a few less irrational voices among them. Van Jones has long impressed me as one. Impeachment is a double-edge sword and the side that will cut Dems is jagged:

CNN's Van Jones: Democrats in 'lose-lose' situation on impeachment
“If they don’t do something, their own base is going to feel disappointed and feel like maybe Trump gets away too much,” Jones, a former Obama official, added. “If you go through with impeachment, though, you divide the country further, you take the oxygen away from your candidates, and you still don’t solve the problem of foreign interference. Just because you impeach a president, it doesn’t mean you don’t still have the problem of foreign interference. It’s a big mess.”

They believe the media excitement and positive Hollywood-style presentation over their switch to Communism can manipulate the sentiments of the majority of the electorate and put them back in power.

I believe they will be sorely disappointed.

Warren will end our energy and health insurance industries while raising taxes on the few Americans she allows to keep their jobs. One thing is long known and undeniable:

It looks like they are going to get Warren, but she is not going to garner much support from the billionaires on the left, because she wants to take their money and give it to inner-city pregnant teenagers.
