See, I come from the same mindset as Mr. Rogers...you know...the soft spoken man from the neighborhood.
And I refuse to allow any culture define who I am. I can do things that are normally reserved for women but I also do a lot of things that men do. Rosie Greer loved his needlepoint...but he also was fierce on the football field too. No one ever accused him of being a homosexual or transgender. (they were scared) But the man was also a Presbyterian Minister. I can sew a bunch of different type of stitches...but I usually don't do cloth and reserve my stitches to leather products...like my tool pouch and purses for my wife. Pencil holders for my son who works at an office job. I also studied how to be a Chef...fully four stars. And a construction electrician. I have a lot of hobbies...but I don't let culture tell me that I must have feelings to do anything. I don't let culture tell me who I must like or not like and why. My Father in Heaven does all that for me...and He may listen to me...but thats all...He usually doesn't agree with me...but I have learned to agree with him. (often slowly and after several cuffs)

For the last forum I was on people weren't being treated fairly and I wasn't allowed to be myself. Cause I was a part of a Christian forum and they didn't like the fact that I love Harry Potter and Halloween and all kinds of spooky things. However, it looks like I'm really going to like it here because there's a variety of things on here for me to do and there's even a category for religion.
Not to mention the fact that I am a Conservative and I'm not sure what the main political views are on here but I really like what the top of the page says that this is a place where our voices count and that's an important part of being an American to me. So although it didn't work out for me on my other forum, it looks like I will be free to be myself on here. I am very friendly, love animals, and love to write. My first name is April but I also like to be called my nickname of Rilly. I can't wait to meet you all and hopefully there will be some other Potterheads on here that I can find that love Jesus as well.
