Ive never opened a social media account. I've seen facebook pages. Everyone has such perfect lives and happy.
I have a Facebook account but I literally log into it every 4 or 5 months. Usually to contact someone or reply to someone. That's it. I used to post my gigs on there but don't even do that anymore. And when I log out I dump all my cookies. I hate that site, and want them Congress to break them up and I want advertisers to sue the shit out of them for false claims of advertising reach.

Mike Lindell's new social media site (frankspeech) kicks off on Tuesday. I searched for mention of it here on the boards but it turned up nothing. Would have figured with all the right-wingers here you'd be all over it.

This dinosaur has never understood Twitter, finding it all so confusing. Even Facebook I don't find all that intuitive. I click "watch" on it's title bar and the church sermon videos I regularly patronize don't appear but rather I get sucked into watching some guy playing a high stakes game of coin pusher.
Twitter and Facebook give platforms to people who really shouldnt be heard. People you would avoid in the street or the pub are delivered to your front room. Its ghastly.
So, you are advocating that Facebook and Twitter ban progressives? After all, those people really should not be heard. every. on any platform.
They can do whatever they want. Their shareholders own the company , not the general public. Its an awkward fact that you dozy fuckers cant get your heads around.
Tell Me something, if the telephone company decided to hang up a phone call you were on because they didn't like the conversation you were having, would you be okay with that?
I wouldn't. I'd drop that phone company in a heartbeat, and find one with different policies. I'd also make sure everyone else knew that the phone company in question pulled that kind of crap.
Don't you believe in the right to privacy? WTF are they doing monitoring your conversation at all? That has been the problem with Americans for 50 years--No one has to take your rights, you give them away. I know, "you don't have anything to hide."

Sounds like you should stay off them then. While you're at it, better close your window blinds too. You don't want to see anything that disrupts your narrow world view. And stay inside. There are people out there.
If I want to mix with pigs I have ample opportunity. I visit this board for example. Its rather like one of those old time freak shows where I can gawp at people the lord has not really blessed.
Bearded ladies and people who slosh about in their own shit for example.

Its entertaining but not really instructive.
ahhhh, how sweet

I will do everything I can to support Lindell's endeavors. When I type his name into my search engine, I can see that the left has lots of bad things to say about him, which means they perceive him as a threat. I strongly support people who scare lefties, so I'll keep my eyes on his social media site for anything I cane do to support his fight against my enemy.

Good thing for you there are plenty of phone companies, right? Imagine if all the phone companies got together and blacklisted you, or if the monopoly hadn't been broken up...

We all have free speech. What is stopping you ?

Exactly. So don't do that.

Likely because private social media have nothing to do with free speech; free speech concerns only government
Fallacy. Anytime free speech is suppressed, it is no longer free. Doesn't matter if it is the government, social media, or some mod on a political board- the moment your speech is suppressed, it is no longer free speech. It becomes censored speech.

Not in democrat controlled America. Free speech is non existent

Facebook and Twitter aren't monopolies, and all internet websites would never agree on anything.

The fact that you don't object to a company monitoring your private conversations shows that you already have.

The instructive part of your response is, "If I want to mix with pigs I have ample opportunity". Why do you want to "mix with pigs"?

How do you see that ? What has your government done to limit your freedom of speech in the 3 months they have been in office ?

I'd drop that phone company in a heartbeat
I can read just fine. If you never allowed the country to give them the right to monitor your calls, the question is moot. No sense in closing the barn after the horse is gone, moron.

You're becoming quite the socialist. Usually, equating corporations with government is their schtick. If the phone company could arrest me, you might have a point. They can't. You don't.
