But gains in Employment had less to do with either Obama or Trump, and a lot more to do with the changing demographics. In 2011, the first Baby Boomers started retiring. They are retiring at a rate of 360,000 a month, and there aren't enough new workers to replace them. You can do some things through automation, through outsourcing and through immigration, but the fact is, we are experiencing a labor shortage, which is not entirely a good thing.

What we aren't seeing is the gains in skilled labor, as Trump isn't investing in education, and he's made it a lot more difficult for companies to recruit talent from overseas.
