If they wanted to root out massive corruption why would they install Lutsenko, who had recently served prison time for corruption, never went to law school, and had recently got out of prison early at the behest of Hunter's fellow Burisma director?

How does that work to eliminate corruption? Shokin was never even charged with corruption and Biden's "solid guy" had recently got out of prison for corruption and is currently wanted on more corruption charges.

Now the honorable Ron Johnson stages, by other means, the investigation Trump, the extortionist, required, bringing the power of the state to bear on a man whose crime they cannot articulate. Quite obviously, they deem Hunter a target who would be easy to smear, with a life containing episodes to cook up endlessly. The marks demand their piece of flesh, and Joe will be made to suffer for it.

We shall see whether that, plus the other hoax that goes by the name "Obamagate", suffices to distract from and to hide the economic devastation and a six figure death count on Trump's ledger. That would be on top of the all-out vandalism over four years.
