Up until now, only commissioned officers (certified pilots) have flown drones. A lot of those are leaving the service and the USAF has had troubles finding officers to replace them. It appears four are already in training with 20 recently commissioned officers.

It should be noted that many of nations have enlisted personnel as pilots.

Invasion America series by Vaughn Heppner is heavy on Drones of all types...a little light on science but pretty good reads..

Just what the Air Force needs is hundreds of kids educated on video games who are willing to hit the button and kill (U.S. citizens?) and anyone else that the Air Force targets without getting blood on their hands.

Many are leaving for the stress induced, guilt and unending questions of who did I kill? Where did those kids come from who werent in the pic when I fired....program needs reigning in.
