Hulk the pit bull is in the headlines again as a reminder that this breed can be as gentle as a lamb. Hulk tips the scales at 175-pounds and he is not just a pet to the family, the pit bull is also trained as a security dog. Although the owners admit that the pit bull is trained to kill, he plays with their 3-year-old son like a big gentle Teddy bear, according to Fox News on March 4.

The size of this dog leaves you awestruck, especially when you first get a look at his massive head and jaws. Hulk’s owners, Marlon and Lisa Grennan of Dark Dynasty K9s out of New Hampshire, breed pit bulls for their high end customers. This breeder is also a member of the American Dog Breeders Association and the United Kennel Club.

Hulk is only 18-months, but he looks intimidating. This is a look their dogs need so they are able to do the job they are trained to do. Dynasty K9 breeds and trains pit bulls as security dogs for “celebrities and ultra-rich clients.” ABC News reports that Hulk "shatters misconceptions" about the pit bull breed.

You wouldn’t want to see the 175-pound pit bull coming at you because this dog can do some real damage. Marlon Grennan said, “A dog the size of the Hulk could kill someone if it was in the wrong situation at the wrong time. The power of this dog is unrivaled. If he bit down on someone's arm with full power it would snap like a toothpick."

IMO, a lot wrong with this. Dogs should not be used for "security". Humans should do their own dirty work. I doubt this dog is pure breed pit; more likely he's mixed with one of the giant breeds, like the cane corso. No way would I let this dog "play" with a 3yo.
