I posted my source, AP VoteCast which is what pretty much everyone relies on, and most likely where your 2020 number came from. It is more accurate than a pre-election poll because it's after the fact.According to your post, 75 percent of black men can't stand trump. According to the data I saw, we voted n the same percentage in 2020 as we did in 2024.
I do not doubt that many Harris voters saw their vote as a vote against Trump rather than a vote for Harris, but I doubt it was all of them.
On the whole, the number of voters who said they were voting against the other candidate was down 10 points from 2020. About 25% this time vs. 35% in 2020.
I would venture that answer was much higher among democrats than republicans- Trump's voters genuinely supported Trump, while Harris voters more likely saw her as the alternative to Trump, but would have voted for anyone who wasn't Trump...
