How Pompeo’s CIA spied on Julian Assange

Democrats & Republicans, Liberal & Conservative spymasters and media, ALL agreed to prosecute the heroic journalist Julian Assange — here is how Trump’s billionaire pal Sheldon Adelson became a channel for CIA dirty tricks.

Those liberals who supported “Russia-gate” will find little sympathy in this journalist’s new and excellent expose of the crimes of Pompeo’s CIA against the WikiLeaks founder.

Exposed: CIA used Sheldon Adelson's firm to spy on Julian Assange
Meh. All Trump has to do is backdate a fake FISA warrant. No harm, no foul. The guys not even American

To be honest, after the whole Manning thing , Julian was careless to believe they wouldn't come after him.
He should have been hiding away in Australia or Iceland instead of running around Europe like a celebrity.
But yeah, Pompeo does seem to have a personal beef with him.
One day somebody with access to the archives will write the whole story of Pompeo’s rise to power within the Trump Administration. I don’t think it will be the story of a “great statesman“ or geo-strategist coming to the aid of a bumbling and out of his depth President.

I believe Pompeo (and Bolton) represent[ed] the same aggressive interests of the Military Industrial Complex and the Security State as Cheney and Rumsfeld did. Pompeo is to Trump what Cheney was to baby Bush. In addition he is an “End Days” “Christian Zionist” who knows how to manipulate Trump and is willing to demonize all opponents. A very dangerous combination. Pompeo’s “beef” with WikiLeaks is more than personal. Deep down he identifies the U.S. role with God’s fight against evil and any opposition or irritant to the U.S. Empire’s goals of world conquest must be crushed. WikiLeaks had no army to defend itself with, was sheltered by no state whatever, yet had proven itself effective in exposing U.S. machinations. That was enough to make Julian Assange a primary target. Trump was apparently very easily convinced, even right after campaigning that he “loved” WikiLeaks — which says a lot about him.

A lot of differences between Trump and Bush as far as that goes, but you make a good point.
As for Pompeo and Bolton, I'm sure you're over the target there- - remember 2 years ago when they wanted to invade Venezuela ? In a speech Pompeo even said that Hezbollah was down there....there wasn't much doubt in my mind after that.

Pompeo wines and dines in Europe too much, and Assange fell out of favor with the European Establishment by exposing financial crimes at Julius Baer.

The pop culture celebs and liberal Jews had some use for Assange for as long as they let him stay at the Ecuadorean embassy, but now that Assange is No longer useful to them, they're seeking to have him tortured to death, while implicating Donald Trump and smearing Trump's name as much as possible in the whole sordid ordeal.

Not at all. On November 18, 2016, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he would nominate Pompeo to be the director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 23, 2017, with a vote of 66–32, and sworn in later that day. This OP focuses on the period after 2017 and continues up to the present. Julian Assange is still fighting for his freedom. Assange is being persecuted by the Trump administration and has been abandoned by the Liberal media, which even at times tried to paint him as part of a great Russiagate anti-Democratic Party espionage operation.
Trump did not choose Pompeo, Bolton or Mnuchin --those three were placed there ahead of time, as were others . Presidents are often scapegoats whether they like it or not.

Think about it - Wikileaks helped and/or tried to help Trump win. He "Loves Wikileaks..." If the people upstairs weren't after him so bad, Trump would have pardoned Assange by now.

Spoken like a true sycophantic Trumptard.

[I will be happy if Trump drops Pompeo, or pardons Assange ... or Snowden. Anything can happen. Trump is unpredictable, and has no principles whatever. If he thinks it will further his personal interests, or help him electorally ... Trump would do anything. There will be some kind of “October Surprise” for sure— probably troop withdrawals from Afghanistan or Iraq. “Bring the Troops Home” ... to police American streets?]

AS ASSANGE EXTRADITION HEARING RESUMES, THE FUTURE OF A FREE PRESS IS ON TRIAL

Journalist Juan Passarelli, director of the film “The War on Journalism: the Case of Julian Assange,” about the trial of Julian Assange ...

JUAN PASSARELLI: “Julian (Assange) has not been given the right to a fair defense. He hasn’t seen his lawyers for six months — not on video, not in person — because nobody is allowed to visit Belmarsh Prison ... He is locked in a room 23-and-a-half hours a day.

“There was a superseding indictment that the (US) Department of Justice issued on the 24th of June, but it was only given to the court ... three weeks ago. And Julian has not been able to read it; so he hasn’t even been able to read the charges that he is facing. And he is going to see his lawyers for the first time (on September 7) at the hearing....

“Concerning his health, it is actually deeply worrying. His partner and two children went to visit him for the first time a week-and-a-half ago, and he was not allowed to get close to them.... He has reportedly lost a lot of weight. He is in physical pain. He has an injury.... And as you probably are aware, the special [UN] rapporteur on torture, Nils Melzer, has examined him, with two expert medical experts ... and has delivered a report to the United Kingdom saying that he displayed all the symptoms of a person who is under psychological torture....

“The psychological report that the defense submitted ... say that his psychological, mental health is deteriorating ... I was able to see him in court that day, through video link.... He was asked for his name and date of birth; he almost didn’t remember his date of birth.”

US prosecutors disrupt Spanish probe into alleged CIA-linked firm which spied on Assange

US prosecutors are reportedly refusing to cooperate with a Spanish investigation into the company accused of spying on Julian Assange while he sought asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy ...

Judge Jose de la Mata of Spain’s High Court is conducting an ongoing investigation into UC Global. The firm was previously in charge of security at the Ecuadorian embassy in London and now stands accused of spying on WikiLeaks founder Assange and passing sensitive information to US intelligence...

US prosecutors disrupt Spanish probe into alleged CIA-linked firm which spied on Assange

Update on Spanish Trial:

“A Spanish judge’s request to probe ... a criminal spying operation against Julian Assange indicates the investigation is homing in on US intelligence....

“The Spanish judge presiding over the trial ... has sent a request to the US Department of Justice for an interview with Zohar Lahav, the Israeli-American vice president for executive protection at Las Vegas Sands.

“Sands is owned by the ultra-Zionist casino tycoon Sheldon Adelson, one of the single largest donors to Donald Trump’s presidential campaigns and the Republican Party....

“This request follows a previous attempt at securing witness interviews that was effectively blocked by the US Department of Justice....

“Documents and testimony revealed in the Spanish court have exposed shocking details of UC Global’s campaign against Assange, his lawyers, friends, and even American journalists.“
