I know that you're on our side, Kondor, and that you wrote this piece facetiously. But I'd still like to give you a few rebuttals:

1) Even with the West Bank and the Golan Heights, Israel is still one of the tiniest nations on Earth. That's why she needs to be strong.

2) There's a famous map that goes around, which shows only some tiny spots on the West Bank that are still Palestinian. The map is misleading. Not only are there large swaths of the West Bank which are hugely Palestinian in terms of population, but they are ruled over by the Palestinian Authority as well.

3) The Golan Heights are integral to Israel's security, since the Syrians used to shoot down on Israeli farms from those mountains before 1967. Not to mention the fact that Syria is in a state of anarchy now.

4) Israel has no designs on Jordan, and has even propped up that artificial kingdom and saved it from being invaded from Syria in the past.

5) Unfortunately, the Maronite Christians have been decimated by the Muslims in Lebanon, so there's no chance now of a Christian buffer zone in Southern Lebanon.

6) Gaza is overcrowded and not in good condition, but that is their own fault. After Israel pulled out of there in 2005, she could've made herself the Singapore of the Middle East.
