My wife and i were sick for two weeks after. . . And about a month and a half latern COVID-19 broke big.

It would be good to know if I might have already beat it.

The young man who posted on youtube how it felt to have COVID-19 and be quarantined was pretty brave. He was most effective when he described how he had to lie down after going from one room to another because he had trouble breathing. He said it was like an elephant sitting on his chest. The other thing I remember was he saying that he was quarantined for over forty days and missed the interaction with people face-to-face. He had to do that via phone or his computer.

I came home from New Orleans last month with something that might have been a mild case. I self isolated and I am doing fine now. My wife caught it a bit, but my two kids have been fine.

That's why we have to get a new flu vaccine every year. With most viruses, if you get infected with the virus, and your immune system learns how to fight it, then you can never be infected again by that exact same virus. But many viruses mutate quickly enough, that by the next year, there's a new strain, different enough from the one you previously developed immunity against, that your immune system has to learn all over with the new one.

I find it interesting that one of the leading Libertarian candidates is running on the platform of dissolving the US federal government, he has been holding "fireside chats" everyday at 3pm.

. . . and at the other extreme, the UN is doing a power grab, and wants 10% of the world GDP now.
