How Many Have Been Killed By Legal Ghost Guns So Far? From what I understand....they're already illegal. So why do Democrats feel they can do anything about them just by passing another law? This is a good question.....because it appears Ghost Guns are being sold and traded in California...or being shipped for sale to foreign countries to bypass being tracked by the government. Democrats seem to think making a law solves everything.

If you create a gun-free zone or a gun-free state....all you do is create another crime. It's like Prohibition....they never could stop people from drinking....and they never will be able to get rid of all of the guns in America.

"Axel Galvez had a deal: $7,500 for five untraceable semiautomatic rifles. And he had a buyer: a felon who planned to ship them overseas. Now, he just needed weapons that would be invisible to regulators.

To avoid background checks, Mr. Galvez bought rifle parts, then assembled the five guns at the Los Angeles machine shop where he worked. He offered to build his buyer 100 more for $130,000.

An underground gun-making industry that enables criminals to elude background checks and bypass gun regulations is creating a growing trade of “ghost guns,” weapons that can’t be traced by police, authorities say.

Mr. Galvez’s buyer turned out to be a government informant; the 36-year-old machinist pleaded guilty in November to unlawful firearms manufacturing and dealing, according to court documents.

Ghost guns have been in the spotlight since a Northern California man, who was prohibited from possessing firearms because of a restraining order, killed five people in a November rampage using semiautomatic rifles that he made himself, police say. Other gunmen have employed the weapons as well. In 2016, a Baltimore man fired at police with a homemade AR-15, and Santa Monica shooter John Zawahri used a ghost gun in his shooting spree that killed five in 2013."
What they seem to have a problem figuring out is it's not the gun that causes violence.....it's poverty, drugs, and mentally unstable human-beings. Maybe they have it figured out and all they're interested in is making sure plenty of mentally unstable people are walking the streets. Then they can start going full Nazi like Canada.

It seems to be more of a problem in Mexico with various Mexican cartels profitting with US gun parts, getting them back to Mexico after assembly, and using them to enforce deals made with other cartels and their illegal, and most profitable, drug rings.

EDIT: I was surprised this aspect of the cartels (buying gun parts/assemblying/smuggled easily back into Mexico) wasn't mentioned to Biden during that second phone call with AMLO...at least not on the public transcript. IN other words, our border security has been less than par for many decades. It looks like it will take some tragedy (bombs activated and killing many at major crossing) for the US to actually do something. There is no reason the US should be having any type of border issue...but yet here we are with multiple areas of weakness.

It looks like the old zip gun might make a comeback.

No. The government will not be able to stop home made weapons.

We don't need to register guns to catch criminals.

We don't need to license gun owners to catch gun criminals.

We don't register drugs to drug dealers on street corners.

We don't license illegal drug dealers on street corners.

We catch these people using old fashioned police work....and snitches...

We catch gun criminals the same way.

If the Cartels decide to stir serious trouble they can easily send people to detonate car bombs. I'm surprised it hasn't already occurred. I guess they don't want to create any unnecessary pressure on their business model.

There's a nifty new method as well. They create a crime by outlawing guns UNCONSTITUTIONALLY, then they use a "Red Flag" to selectively scoop up anyone who says anything they don't like, online. Once that begins to get a lot of press, look for some deadly blowback. It isn't difficult at all to imagine some gun owner answering the door, seeing the Schutzstaffel thugs, and opening up on them. He'll be killed, of course, but the news will travel and in time, door knocking will become door-kicking and the revolution will grow. It's all entirely predictable. Someone WANTS to push us to the brink and over it.

I think ignorant (in the true sense of the word) lefties who never saw a firearm they didn't hate are confused by the terms "semi-automatic" and fully automatic and they use the two terms interchangeably.

Most people are not Hunter Biden. They can never get away with falsely filling out an application for a federal background check to buy a gun and never spend a day in jail yet alone charged with anything. So if they make it almost impossible to buy guns, people like Hunter except with no political connections will be buying these ghost guns. Because lets face it. If they make it nearly impossible for law abiding citizens to buy firearms, we just won't do it. Therefore these ghost guns will be specifically made for criminals, and will be flooding our streets depending on the actions of this misfit in the White House.

People always adapt and overcome that is why boycotting has never worked because if people need something they will find a way to succeed ... If for example they make buying guns illegal then with the new technology people will learn how to 3 d print them and churn them out cheaply and by the boatload( I know they already do to some extent) but in much more greater quantity...Ghosting is nothing compared to the amount of guns that can be churned out this way...Lots of smart, entrepenerual and motivated people in the states how you going to stop that...

I wonder how these idiots think they'll remove the guns by making them illegal? I mean, it's worked SOOOO well on drugs, yeah?
