That seems to be the relationship Dems want to force, by trying to increase the minimum wage.

The minimum wage goes down each year in real earning power due to inflation, but workers are still expected to do the same amount. The Reps seem to want the employer/worker situation to become one of worker/slave. You've got a lot of nerve calling that "doing nothing". Seems someone needs their food spit on. How's that for something "extra"?

Is that why the Dems want to import millions of low-skilled illegals?

Here's an idea: Don't stagnate at minimum wage year after year. Why aren't you earning raises year after year? Why aren't you earning promotions and greater responsibilities year after year?

The Reps seem to want the employer/worker situation to become one of worker/slave.

No, that is absolutely ridiculous. If you are virtually a slave at work, that is YOUR fault. Why work at a place like that? Why stay? Why not find a more suitable company to work for? Is it because nobody else is willing to hire you? Well then, that's your fault, isn't it? Become worth hiring.

You've got a lot of nerve calling that "doing nothing".

You think "just because" is doing something?

Seems someone needs their food spit on. How's that for something "extra"?

That's precisely the kind of "can-do" attitude that deserves a raise to $15/hr. And you wonder why nobody respects the fact that you've been flipping burgers for the past 20 years.

Oh yes ... That would be the mature and adult way to handle your grievance.
It is a complete mystery as to how someone so professional could possibly be stuck in a minimum wage position.
