How I Went From Far-Left Socialist to Conservative Republican

No you didn’t, but if it helps you to sleep better .. mmmk :rolleyes-41:
Yes I did, and YOU KNOW IT.

When Trump was president (before the Democrat pandemic), there were more people working than any time in US history. Trump was the # 1 jobs president of all time.

Sorry dude .. You don’t get to blame Fauci for the COVIDS.
That ineptitude falls smack dab on Donnie Denial.
Now take two aspirin & call me in the morning ;)
I most certainly DO blame him, and there's no doubt about it. Blame him for the Covid AND the cover-up of it.

As for Trump, he is the HERO of the pandemic.

43. Through the COVID pandemic, our Covid mortality rate was REDUCED from over 17,000/week in April. to about 2000/week in June. and remained very low throughout the year, as a result of the many smart things that the president has done. 90% REDUCTION. > HUGE SUCCESS.
44. Massive production of Ventilators - These were left in short supply after the Obama/Biden admin (we now have so many we're exporting them),
45. the Navy hospital ships sent to New York,
46. the stimulus checks,
47. The Task Force advice (ex. social distancing),
48. opposition/criticism of New York's dumb nursing home policies,
49. federal aid to hospitals, rapidly expanding production & distribution of medical supplies
50. travel bans (which Democrats called Trump a "racist' for),
51. Trump's advocacy of Hydroxychloriquin (now proven to be effective, despite criticism from Democrats), and Regeneron.
52. fast, continual development of a vaccine, and rapid success of Operation Warp Speed.
No thank you
Stay ignorant. You can do that.

Hydroxychloroquine?
Keep going, I’m quite literally in stitches! :lmao:

It is really hysterical imagining protectionist running around with his red flags and Mao button in the 1960s. I would really enjoy seeing a picture of that, alongside a more recent one of him waving a red Trump Flag & wearing a red Trump hat!

The similarity between Maoist/Stalinists in the late 1960s/early 1970s and Trump fanatics today is that they saw everything in black and white, were mostly unthinking bullies, and usually gravitated toward authoritative and demagogic personalities. There was a touch of hysteria/madness/paranoia about them too, which was not unusual given the times, the draft, etc. Very few of them had any inclination or any success in getting beyond the slogans and abstruse “dialectic” language of the scholarly Marx and successful fanatic Lenin. Those who waved Mao’s “Red Books” … were the dumbest.

My own experience in the “movement” of those days was I think deeper and more long-lasting than protectionist . But the power of capitalism and the impossibility of working class revolution in the U.S. led me in a different direction. Just to keep my sanity in those early days I decided to try to look more deeply, became for awhile an anti-Stalinist Trotskyist — which was also utterly impractical and “romantic” — but led me at last to a more penetrating analysis of reality.

Unlike grumpy old Protectionist raving about homosexual perverts, I know life requires tolerance of others. I still don’t have all the answers by any means. But I can recognize sleazy demagogues when I see them, and I STILL have my basic sanity. If I had to describe myself in political terms I guess I would say I’m an international social democrat, an anti-imperialist, and a political realist. I have as little power to change things as the rest of us here.

Along with millions of other people in the 1960s, and millions of other people in 2021. I kind of enjoy seeing it too.

So you're still brainwashed to believe it's not helpful to Covid. Figures. Add that to all the other stuff you don't get right. Ho hum.

Why don't you comment about the vaccines ? the medical supplies ? the ventilators ? the mortality rate reduction ? the MISSION Act ? the $6 billion in NEW funding to fight the opioid epidemic ? the reform of the Medicare program to stop hospitals from overcharging low-income seniors on their drugs ? how about FDA approved more affordable generic drugs than ever before ? Forgot that one too ?

Everyone who touts Dotard's accomplishments is cherry picking. He completely failed with COVID, calling it a Democrat hoax, refusing to mask, listening to anti-science lunatics like the former eye doctor Paul and former radiologist Atlas instead of expert virologists and immunologists.

And when we finally had a vaccine? He didn't push it hard enough for fear of triggering the kooks kooks in his base. Of course, he also suggested injecting disinfectants.

Nope, he handed President Biden a shit sandwich to clean up in more ways than one. Minimally 200,000 soils were lost that didn't need to be.

Presidential historians agree with me - Not you. Obama now at #10 - Your orange clown at #41.

A declaration of ignorance and stupidity of both this author and the people answering the poll. Like almost all polls, they are undoubtedly heavily Democrats. Republicans watch CSpan and call in (in lesser numbers) but they still don't answer polls.

The IQ of the respondents has to be rated as VERY LOW, with James Madison rated as number 16 (all he did was write the US Constitution), and should have been in the top 3, easily.

Trump was a full HERO on Covid, getting us the vaccine, and in unimagined quick time. From his numerous actions, he also reduced the Covid death rate from 17,000/week in April 2020, to 2000/week in June 2020 - 90% Reduction. HUGE SUCCESS.

I don't know what the author is talking about regarding "200,000 soils", but if this is a typo about Covid deaths, it just shows that the author is unaware that the Covid death reported numbers are nonsense, being "grossly inflated" (CDC's words), by financial incentives, created by the CARES Act (hospitals being paid big $$, by # of Covid deaths reported). Most people knew this 16 months ago.

Maybe someday you might post a slight indication of what gives you the foggiest notion that anything I said is a lie, (but I wouldn't bet on it)

And you really, actually believe that somebody ascertained that Trump told 24,000 lies, huh ? HA HA HA. Are you sure it wasn't 24 MILLION ? 24 BILLON ? Is there a doctor in the house ? I mean really.

No, just 24,000 well documented lies chronicled by The NY Times. Now granted, some of those lies were of the greatest hits variety which he told eleventy hundred times. So maybe those should only count as a one. Even so, the number is well over 10,000.

EARTH TO DL >>>> The New York laughingstock Times doesn't have any so-called lie from President Trump. You are a DUPE to a degree that is, absolutely incredible. The leftist media could say ANYTHING, and you believe it. I would find it amazing even if a 10 year old kid were to believe such a tall tale. 24,000. Good grief.
