One of the biggest challenges for Crimeans now is the documentation of violence and rights violations against those living under Muscovite occupation—a police state, where affiliation with religious groups and the reporting of abuse leads to numerous Tatars being imprisoned by authorities. Crimean Tatars are fighting to be heard—is anyone listening? How can Kyiv and the international community step in to support this marginalized and targeted ethnic minority? How are Crimeans standing against their occupiers?

What's wrong. They are a Turkish tribe using a turkish language - also called "Crimean Turks". This cultural Turks are perhaps (=not a proven hypothese) biologically melted with other conquerors of the Crimea: Mongols, Khazars, Greeks, Iranians, Huns, Bulgarians, Kumanen (German word), Crimean Goths and also Crimean Armenians, people from Veneto and Genua ... in 1799 the Russians had conquered the Crimea.

And I remember also a very strange attack of the Brits - a kind of "dress rehearsal" for world war 1 - which had ended in a very bloody disaster for the British empire - which had had owned about 25% of the world at this time of history.

The Crimea came to the Ukraine about a kind of joke of world history: The Soviet leader Krushchev made it to a present to the Ukraine in 195x when everyone saw in the Ukraine only a province of Russia.

Whatever: To speak about a genocide since 1799 from the Russians on the Crimean tartars (who have nothing to do wíth the Wolga Tartars) seems not to be plausible. The Soviets - specially the Soviet Stalin - had been a problem for many people - not only for the Crimean Tartars and whether the Ukrainians really would be better for the Crimean Tartars is a hypothese which also never had been proven, because never many Ukrainians had lived in the Crimea. The main population there are still Russians.

And not to forget: The Crimea is the main harbor of the Russian Black Sea fleet. So the "hawks of war" from all sides cry very loud and like to hide every truth.

It lived people in the Crimea who had not been Muslims and not been Turks. Then came Osmans and conquered the Crimea and all this people had been either murdered or had been assimiliated or displaced. Czarina Catherine decided to protect her empire against the Osmans and conquered the Crimea. And more than 200 yeas later still live Turkish speaking Muslims in the Crimea who had been "genocided". Sounds not plausible this "genocide".

Sure had happened unbelievable brutal and cruel things under Stalin in the Soviet Union. Stalin had been the only paranoiac who had the very best real reasons to be a paranoiac and to die in complete mental derangement. But he was not only a "problem" (=a devil) for the people in the Crimea - he had been a problem for everyone in Russia. This man murdered many millions of Russians. And now you can buy elegant shoes in Moscow under the picture of this nice fatherly murderous friend. Ugly! But so it is! Hopefully Putin became not a victim of such Soviet ghosts who he had called back. Why? Because no one will help the Crimean Tartars - not the West and not any Turk or Muslim and also not the government of the Ukraine. The idiots who like to use the Crimean Tartars for their own plans (dead or alive) are without any moral compass on their own.
