How communist regime of Merkel totally devastated Germany within 15 years. Lesson for the U.S.

Germans kept electing Merkel and the world seems to loves her. I don't but the world does. This poll shows that 81% of Germans still have confidence in her and other countries think she is great:

.
Yeah, but maybe it is just the globablist bankers and their media hos that love her, and she has been stealing election via fraud like biden.

People gravitate towards promises of comfort and stability. Merkel also played on German guilt for the horrors under Hitler. This made neighboring countries and Germans feel better. The cost however between immigration and green energy policies will cost the German economy amounts that they may not be able to sustain. All in the interest of a feel good policy.

.

And you think your feel bad politics is better?

I would prefer policies that seek to create long-term objectives, making clear what resources need to be put forward and what tangible and quantifiable results we will receive.

What for heavens sake do you expect from politicians? Take some dices - give every US-American a number - and throw the dices until you will get one of the numbers. If the chosen idiot likes to do the job "president of the USA" then let him do the job. Who could be more worse than was Donald Trump?

Tom Paine 1949

When I had this idea the first time I tried to find out from whom in history I got this idea. And I found him: it had been Perikles. He lived about 500-400 BC in Athens. He made all of us to members of a great civilisation. Donald Trump made everyone to members of a great idiocy.

You are surprisingly pliable. Is there anything you find unacceptable in German politics?

Only utter morons would describe Angela Merkel as a “communist.” She won respect and earned her place in the socially conservative traditionally male-dominated Christian Democratic Union, which she led for 18 years. The CDU’s “sister party” is the even more Conservative Bavarian-based Catholic Christian Social Union.

Germany of course as a whole opposed the U.S. invading Iraq. Nevertheless Germany with Europe must pay the price for the long-running refugee crisis created by the U.S. occupation of Iraq and U.S.-promoted civil wars in Syria and elsewhere. Determined to maintain control over “petro-dollar” Mideast oil profits, the U.S. (under Trump & Biden) is also sanctioning and pressuring Merkel and other German politicians to stop the almost completed NordStream2 gas pipeline from Russia, proposing instead to force Germany to buy more expensive shipped LNG products from the U.S.A.

Unlike the U.S., Germany is overwhelmingly dependent on its exports and trade related economy, and virtually all Germans understand this. Therefore Germany’s economic and political reality is very different than ours. Merkel has maintained domestic stability in Germany in a tough period, and this explains her own personal popularity there (and in France). Germans today seem quite a bit more rational than their American allies. Merkel has also handled Russia and other difficult international relations in a far more mature and steady way than the U.S. has.

LOL,

Germany hasn't Free Speech and Free Press, anything is prohibited and needs permission of authorities.

But we have Mafia killers who take care that no one is publishing this. Unfortunatelly the Mafiosi, who had to kill you before you wrote this, was drunken and rioted in the Capitol and killed instead of you the desk of Nancy Pelosi. And he is not ready to correct his mistake before we pay him for the job he did not do. So what can we do? No chance to redeem you from your obsessive ideas.

Even 'Pravda' through the Trotski time was five times more trustworthy as Merkel united communist paid by taxpayer Lugenpresse.

One moment please. You are still a a mainstream Commie? Thought you had died out. What is your nationality? Russian?

99% of German MSM are absolutely trash full of lies, there is almost no difference between any paper or TV Chanel.
A small couple of internet blogs are highly persecuted by 'police' and Antifa ( practically Merkel Hitlerjugend )
Even DDR was more free as created by Merkel mad 'state' full of good-for-nothing carrier politicians and insane laws.
Therefore, don't trust 'polls' from Merkel 'Kingdom', all of them had been written in her Politburo.

Funny - you are really funny. ¿Trumpist of QAnon?

I'm an US -citizen and a Trump voter, that should be enough for you.

"Trump-voter" means "jobless", isn't it? Better for you not to look for any job, where you could have to do with someone, who is not an extremist US-Trumpist.

Trump voters are the only white christian patriots worldwide who fight for Christianity, Traditional Values and Moral

Pliable? I'm a democrat, that's all. And if you know that the idiot, which you know in your neighborhood could become your president then you will never say something like "´Let him be an idiot. Not my problem". It is your problem.

Is there anything you find unacceptable in German politics?

Counterquestion: What do you know about Germany and/or Germans except stories around Hitler. Nothing or nothing?

What a bullshit. You and Donald Trump have not only only a little idea about the Christian rebound in god - you are anti-Christians!

➨ Responsible for Brexit (migration dictatorship)
➨ Creeping expropriation of German savers by the devastating zero interest rate policy of the ECB
➨ Precarious working conditions (temporary/loaned work), top position in low wages
➨ Squandering of billions of taxpayers' money all over the world
➨ Highest share of social security contributions (20.6 percent of gross income)
➨ After turning away from coal/atomic power generation, no sensible and economic alternatives
➨ "Climate package" rip-off (e.g. increase in price of diesel, gasoline, gas, flights), pending ban on oil heating systems
➨ Destruction of hundreds of thousands of jobs
➨ Highest emigration of skilled workers

The left destroys everything they touch. It has always been that way and will always be that way.

Thank you.

I didn't vote for Merkel and don't support her party, but she is a center-right politican whom I can respect. She didn't do all that bad of a job, after all.

Could it have been better? I suppose so. In fact, I think maybe her biggest achievement is that she wasn't Trump (or Erdogan, or Putin, or Johnson). She is a rational, sane, albeit a bit boring politician. But at least she didn't flirt with inciting the public or running on fake news.

She is from the major center-right party in Germany, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). But unlike the right in America, she had an opposite approach of cementing her power:

Rather than polarizing and pandering to the extremes, she pushed her party deep into the center: She avoided saying anything that could offend the left. When the left appeared to have found a new topic to pressure her with -- like a nuclear power phase-out after the Fukushima disaster in 2011, an end to military draft or gay marriage --, she would just quickly do it herself, stealing the topic from the left.

While that alienated many in her party, and many right to the center, it demobilized the left and she won election after election. Her advisors called that strategy "asymmetric demobilization". Hardly anybody on the left is exited by her, but she is so moderate nobody on the left hates her -- so left voters just stay home on election day.

Personally, I think on the long run, she was not doing a good service for our democracy by doing this. Public debate almost slumbered off, nobody was passionate about anything anymore. America might have way too much polarization, but Germany had too few. That allowed the far-right populist AfD to fill that vaccuum, by claiming "all established parties are the same" (they're at around 10% of the votes now).

This, and I feel Merkel's pragmatism lacks a vision. She never foresaw a new crisis. She always just reacted on them. Oftentimes, until there were no options left but bad ones. Like in case of the refugee crisis in 2015: For months, the streams of refugees had built up. But Merkel did nothing. Until it was too late and the only two options were either a humanitarian disaster with bloodshed, or opening the borders for a million of them.

But is she this refugee loving leftist the Nazi right wants to paint her? Nope. She hit the hot stove in 2015. Ever since then, all her policies have been aimed at reducing immigration. And mostly successfully so. Don't listen to the far-right fake news.

What can I say? I'm not so fond of her. Her biggest achievement is that she wasn't Trump. But considering what's going on in the world, that's perhaps not even small an achievement.

At any rate, unlike America, which is currently falling apart under the biggest crisis of its democracy since the Civil War, and such a massive economic inequality and a huge fake news propaganda machine that has a tight grip on half of the population ... we're pretty good off over here. Thanks, Merkel. You might not be my idea of an ideal politician, but it could have been so much worse.

They are overrun by Muslims

I'm not sure how 1 million people can "overrun" a population of 80 million.

Not saying there are no problems, but far from the hyperbole the Nazi right fake news claims.

Integration was an on-going problem. The newer arrivals showed little interest in learning the German language and culture, which carries over to being employable versus being on welfare. Are you saying that immigrants are now integrating in Germany?

Crime is another issue but statistics in Germany do not reveal the ethnicity of criminals so it's a difficult subject to discuss without referring to the numerous individual reports often found on social media.
