There were some "human beings" that were so horrible that their names should not be mentioned, let alone have their birthdays remembered.

It was truly a tragic day when that individual was born.

There are no words in any language to describe the unspeakable suffering that he caused millions and millions of people.

The United States, I have read, turned away a shipload of refugees. If I remember correctly, the Dominican Republic had the decency to take them in. Also, some Jewish people found refuge in Shanghai, China.

And the New York Times (which was a legitimate newspaper in the 1930s!!!) was loath to report about the terror descending on Germany's Jewish people, lest American readers think that the newspaper's American-Jewish owners were exaggerating the situation.
