How America Added 17 Million People In 7 Years... And Zero Full-Time Jobs

This clearly explains just how phoney the labor statistics are @ How America Added 17 Million People In 7 Years... And Zero Full-Time Jobs Zero Hedge
Technology, automation, and innovation are replacing workers. We're still off-shore out-sourcing jobs. We're importing most of what we use and consume. Employers are producing more with less employees. We've lost many industries to cheap foreign labor. Citizens don't have enough spendable income in their pockets to support the retail business.

The plants and factories that once provided self-supporting opportunities that covered all education and skill levels, are now closed. EXAMPLES: textiles, furniture, appliances, electronics, tools, toys, farm equipment, steel, automotive parts and supplies, just to name a few. We import food, cement, and other common items. The "Made In U.S.A." label is hard to find on store shelves. America no longer produces what America uses and consumes. Skills are no longer passed down from one generation to another.

For many decades now, we've sacrificed our economic well-being in favor of supporting foreign economies. And now, we're standing in long unemployment lines, and living off of government assistance programs and unemployment checks. We've created a poor and dependent citizenry. This all started, and continues, due to our many unfair, unjust, and one-sided foreign trade agreements and policies. After WWII, we started rebuilding Japan's economy, and from there the economic damage here at home has snowballed into what we're seeing and experiencing today. Back in the mid to late 50's, almost every item in five and dime store was made in Japan. Now, we see many foreign labels filling our store shelves. Wal-Mart even has their own factories in China producing the goods we see on their shelves. Our markets are flooded with foreign made goods.

If consumers have a choice to either buy American made goods or foreign made goods, they usually buy the foreign made products due to the price. Consumers, for the most part, can't afford to buy American made goods. All of this is tied directly to employment. Even many of our service sector jobs are exported ( off-shore out-sourced ) to cheap foreign labor markets abroad.

Remember, employers hire to meet the demands of their customers. They don't hire just to be hiring. They're not going to hire people to sit in their break rooms all day. We have unemployment because we've taken away the jobs, and sent the jobs to cheap foreign labor markets. Until we have fair, equal, and balanced foreign trade agreements and policies, this trend will continue. Until we put America back to work, producing what America uses and consumes, don't expect reasonable employment. As our population rapidly grows, the number of living wage jobs decrease.

Technology, automation, and innovation are replacing workers..

of course thats 100% stupid. The wheel replaced billons of workers and it was a good thing not a bad thing!!

See why we are positive that liberalism is based in pure ignorance? Is any other conclusion possible?

I saw something on Fox this morning about the biggest problem most American employers have is finding employees with the most basic qualifications of reading and writing comprehensible English along with mathematical skills.

Another failure of the liberal/progressive education system,

The biggest problem employers I know face is getting entry level workers to understand that 8:00am means you are at your station and working at 8:00am, not wheeling into the parking lot and make a mad dash in by 8:15am.
