gas and styrofoam. Takes very little gas and gets rid of that nasty Styrofoam packing. Peanuts, sheets, anything.

Take a mix bucket, tin can, tuna can, little gas, chunks of foam and stir. Add foam to the right consistency. Use it,

Fishermen in Bahamas use it to repair boats.

Like any adhesive, a joint been previously glued will not have the same strength after.

FYI...that's the recipe for DIY Napalm.

Yeah but ya gotta love the smell of napalm in the morning.........

Hey, someone had to say it. :)

Cool! Once dried as an epoxy though I doubt it would burn. I always thought napalm used soap, oh well!

I'd say you're correct. Good to know it works as epoxy.

Got any hints on cheaper wood for scales than Woodcraft?

Knife scales? Old hickory bats, shovel etc handles. Pallet wood is generally mohogany (like 3000 species) I've cut osage, apple, pear. Seal the end let it dry and cut scales. I prefer stag, pearl, mastodon ivory, oosic, bone for a few.
