The traditional and reasonable American ethos is Conservative.

This current veer to the left is like an Amish kid going through the rite of passage sometimes called, Rumspringa.

Well I don't know what percentage of Republicans are white, because I don't care about skin color. I actually believe in the concept of a color blind society, which means I don't go around trying to figure out what % of people have a different level of Melanin in their skin. It's not important, unless you are a racists.

As for how hilarious it is that McCain was too liberal..... Which part of that is funny? The fact that we've said this for decades, or the fact Arizona confirmed it?

Further, why would it be 'sad' that we want Republicans to actually stand for something?

The resolution to censure McCain was approved by a voice-vote during a meeting of state committee members in Tempe, state party spokesman Tim Sifert said. It needed signatures from at least 20 percent of state committee members to reach the floor for debate. from the link
